Reception staff very friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy. Only downside was room was a bit hot for us and opening window onto noisy street wasn’t ideal.
2.0
Room at the front impacted by close proximity to nightclub so early hours there’s too much post club noise

Excellent hotel in central Aberdeen

A quick overnight stay for business and included my family.
Great location and suited the type of visit for business.

Had absolutely great time , staff really Friendly and helpful

A great spot for this hotel, close to some of the main sites (art gallery and old town) plus the bars and restaurants around Union Street. A very clean bedroom, with super cosy bed (and a choice of hard or soft pillows) plus shower room. Very accommodating and pleasant staff too (they gave me a sewing kit and shoe polish kit when I realised I needed them).

Very good breakfast

Enjoyed the trip. Good central hotel including breakfast at a good price

The hotel is a good location for Aberdeen city centre. The staff were wonderful. We did have an issue trying to check in as the computer system went down. The rooms themselves are quite dated, with older furniture, chipped paint, old toilet system etc, but still kept very clean. The hotel is located on quite a noisy street, and I was kept awake until nearly 3am. But not the fault of the hotel. The parking offered is £10 per night which was fine for the area, but be warned it was a very small car park, so book if possible. The breakfast was plentiful, a nice choice of stuff to eat, but a lot of it tasted old, like it had been reheated from the day before.

Have stayed here quite a few times over the years.. But the last few times it seems to becoming a little run down and needs a good freshen up.
Never used to have to book a breakfast slot.Booked one on this trip as only staying one night.
The breakfast area wasn't that busy and have never been turned away in the past that there was too many people.
So no idea why this has been introduced
Thats one part of going away.. Not having to rush for breakfast.
The room was up on the fourth floor.
Generally clean.. Yet alot of long hanging cobwebs on the roof.
Silicone on shower room is in need of a redo.. Alot of black mould on it
Staff friendly and helpful
Only booked this hotel for the location.. Near to a music venue
Will be looking elsewhere in future
Plenty more selection in the centre of Aberdeen
Shame they've let if go like this

They made us wait at the room's door for 15min because it wasn't ready.
The staff struggled to make two horrible coffees at the bar and charged us £4 each.

Very comfortable and clean

The hotel was lovely , friendly staff the only issue was our room 415 we were woken up by work being done behind the hotel , drilling and banging which was really loud and not ideal when hoping for a good sleep
2.0
Nice place but we're informed we had to pay £30 for one night as we had a pet.
I couldn't see anything on Hotels.com website other than stating pet friendly
2.0
My stay was exactly what it was intended for, a place to sleep at night.
Breakfast is always included in the price so that's a bonus.

Buffet food is very little. Canned fruits used to put on the plates for customers are rotten, have bubbles and are mushy, which is not checked by the hotel. The room is very small for a family of four people, the price is for four people. Will not come back here again.

Convenient situation. We were in Aberdeen for the Art Fair which was within easy walking distance. Parking arrangements have changed since our last stay.

A decent hotel to the price, the rooms are nice and clean, but i would wish that the personal working there was sent on a "i care about the costumer" course...
Standing there waiting while the staff is just ignoring you and when they speak to you a little smile or just some small chat would be great...
The hotel is great but the staff is not meeting the exception

Very tired hotel and noisiest room I’ve ever slept in. Very poor breakfast too.

Good, central

Booked a parking spot but not told it was in low emission zone. Then given useless information - directed to a parking lot that has a maximum of stay of 12 hours. Asked for a quiet room, put right on street.

Perfect location. Paid parking right at the hotel £10 a day but need to book in advance. Lovely welcoming staff

This hotel is located at a very convenient location, with plenty of dining options at walkable distance. It is a 15 min walk from the Aberdeen railway station and all the usual tourist attractions are also within a 15-30minute walking distance. The hotel itself is a bit dated but clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Our check in was delayed and I think it’s because they have some staffing issues but the staff more than made up with their courtesy.
Breakfast is good with the usual options at all Holiday Inn Express hotel.
I would recommend this hotel and would definitely visit again.
Please note there are only 10 parking spaces and this is charged at £10 per night. Hotels.com should specify this.
5.0
Excellent area and only 5 mins to main pubs etc.
First class (for the price) accommodation. Really liked it.
Only negative was the breakfast fruit. Apples soft. Bananas brown. No choices of yoghurt, only plain.
Apart from that highly recommended stay

Was happy with our stay, breakfast was excellent! Rooms were a little outdated but generally ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to check into parking before you come as there are limited spots at the hotel.
2.5
It started with a warm welcome hospitality from the staff on night duty who was excellent and lovely to us. The rooms were clean and with most of the things required for use or to have when you check in. Breakfast was five star as i can't find any fault. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The overall ambience at the hotel was marvelous.

The location is convenient walkable to the city, Union square and lots of shops and restaurants as well. Amazingly the hotel breakfast is very good 👍 we are amazed with the breakfast, well done 😊
The family room is an average size, clean with a good shower so yes im happy with the hotel in overall. The front stuff are lovely and the breakfast stuff are lovely too so yes I'm happy to stay at this Holiday Inn in overall and we will come back to visit again in the future! Thank you! Room very tidy, friendly staff

Bathroom in the room in very poor condition door handle hanging off, shower hose leaking more water than coming out of the shower head, painted floor tiles in poor condition and the sink tap the noise from it when you open the tap was horrendous reported to reception and they didn’t seem interested very poor state for a holiday inn.

Great for bus to football ground and a Wetherspoons 2 minutes away, a 10 minutes stroll from train station

A doable walk uphill from the train station if you pack light- decent property blends in with historic area. Seagulls are very noisy.

No problems at all.

We only stayed for one night, but it is what o would expect from a holiday inn express.

10 car parking spaces for 155 rooms. Wasn't clear on any marketing material so ended up paying for multi-storey car parking, off-site. Unclear as to how you would be allocated one of the 10 spaces as the reception didn't appear to know.
Noisy during the early hours with other rooms doors closing.
We've been before and didn't encounter issues (we haven't taken the car before however). A little disappointed this time around.
