The area around the hotel makes it feel a bit isolated, however the staff made it very welcoming

Our experience of the hotel was very good, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, food was good, room was comfortable and quiet. Our only problem was at breakfast, I left with our daughter to give my partner time to relax and enjoy her tea. The waiter then asked if he could clear her table. My partner said yes of course. The waiter then proceeded to clear the surrounding tables and put everything on my partners table, right in front of her were scraps and half eaten breakfasts. She was a bit annoyed but she didn't make a fuss and she said nothing but left obviously unable to enjoy her tea. The young man then held the door for her. I feel that his training was lacking as the waiter was very polite and helpful but lacked etiquette in customer service.

Breakfast is so great, lots of choices and the taste is wonderful. Smooth check in / check out procedure.

The room layout and breakfast were great. Dropping off luggage and then going to the parking lot was extremely awkward as the street along side the hotel is very busy.

Came back to stay on my second visit to Belfast as well. Great place with great service and facilities. The location is so convenient and the facilities are great especially the Starbucks coffee option within. Food and drink options are also great. The beds could be better in comfort. Was a little too soft for my back. Still my best place to stay while in Belfast.

The staff were amazingly friendly. Felt above and beyond how they had to be. Hotel was lovely and clean. I will come back to Belfast and I will stay there again.

We had a wonderful visit, I contacted the hotel to say we were arriving early in the day, our room was ready, no charge…Alice at the front desk was very helpful, we ate lunch here and went out for the day.

Convenient to city centre

Location was perfect for everything in Belfast. Room comfortable and very clean. Shame about the Riots right outside on the Saturday evening. We were very frightened. Staff were very caring and asking if we were okay.

Lovely stuff and helpful

I had to cancel my booking at the last minute due to a serious family emergency. The hotel then refused to refund me. Totally heartless.

Cloven was excellent at check in. Our room was available when we arrived. The small extra charge we paid for a Premium room was worthwhile as we had a small fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. The hotel was well situated for everything we wanted to visit in Belfast. 15 minute walk from most city sites. 5 minutes from bus station. 20 minutes walk from train station. We'd stay there if we were in the city again.

Area outside hotel needs improvement

Great facilities. 10 min walk straight in to the city where every shop imaginable is there! Overnight parking at discount price just across the road. Lovely and clean, room cleaned every day. We chose to have drinks downstairs every day as it was so nice and breakfast was delicious! Huge variety! We stayed with our 6 & 9 yesr old and the staff made such a fuss of them.

It’s good hotel and staff very cooperative

Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Belfast. Firstly the staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a comfortable bar area with large Tvs. The rooms is clean, modern and comfortable. The location is excellent with easy walking distance to the city center which has lots of nice pubs and restaurants. Parking is discounted by the hotel and is conveniently located across in a multi story car park across the road form the hotel.

Breakfast was great and kids eat free.

Floor in toilet very wet after shower

Great location, clean room and friendly staff. Place is a little dated and pillows are very lumpy, but all in all a good place to stay and I would recommend.

The room was very nice, the staff was excellent, very clean. The pillows were the worst pillows I have ever used in my life.
