Cosy hotel, clean and nice staff. Breakfast buffet was extremely tasty but heavily inclined towards breads, so there were quite little hot food options.

It was a good hotel to stay on business trip or for sightseeing if you like train with no heavy luggages and look for calm and clean hotel room. Breakfast was good except for coffee.

staff were very friendly and welcoming, my only criticism would be that the air con in the room was very noisy, this apart had a good stay and it’s a good location

next to prato central station, easy to access all kind of transportation. very kind staff, always smiling. i highly recommand

If your visiting Prato , this is an economic clean hotel very well situated to walk into the centre .10 mins . Breakfast was fine , but the rooms small and need renovating . We slept well . Parking was just found the corner and low cost . If you want a well placed , economic hotel and don’t mind it being dated , walking distance to Prato , this could be it .

Very good stay with convenient connection to Florence (about 20-30min) and enough free parking spots on the street of the hotel. We would recommend this for a stay in tuscany!

Friendly staff who were always happy to help, a decent room overlooking the river and a great range of options for breakfast made this a worthwhile stay. My room was clean and had a comfortable bed & good shower. Prato itself isn't the most stunning of tourist towns, but it's not far from Firenze (Florence) and is only an hour's train ride from Lucca. There's a wide range of local restaurants a few minutes' walk from the hotel and the station is nearby.

Enjoyed my stay here. The room was comfortable with a nice outlook. It is just outside the walls of the city but still central. The Breakfast was a little disappointing with the fruit juice being more like cordial and too many sweet options rather than fresh fruit. However, it was very reasonably priced.

The location of the hotel quite good in front of the bisenzio river, very quiet. Very well attended by the hotel staff. If you are traveling with a vehicle, the hotel provides you free parking in the public parking lot that is on the same street as the hotel. Nice breakfast too. Very clean room. I recommend using Art Milano Hotel.

I made a reservation through Expedia for a triple room but then a day or so later saw that single rooms had come available so I cancelled the triple and got the single. I received a confirmation from Expedia. However, when I got to the hotel I was given a triple. When I tried to explain the issue to the front desk the woman there became very unpleasant, telling me "that is what you booked so that is what you got." Needless to say I was in Italy and they weren't budging so I stayed in the room they gave me. When I checked out, the charge was 70 euros more than the rate I booked when I thought I was getting a triple room! The hotel was nice but this experience was really unpleasant and expensive. Waiting to see what Expedia does to rectify this.

The hotel was great for our needs - we were attending a local conference. Breakfast really good for 8 Euros. Slight downside was the room was very small and the toilet dripped nearly all night! I should have mentioned it as one of the other guests had the same and they fixed it. Hotel staff lovely.

Hotel is in a decent location. Building is nice. I was in Prato for a conference. This hotel was the hotel recommended by the conference organizers (who also stayed in the hotel). The good: Breakfast: Classic european breakfast. Everything you would need. Thats about it. THE BAD (AKA EVERYTHING ELSE)THE BIG ALARM: On my second last night, the entire hotel was subjected to over 1 hour of the fire alarm at approximately 3am. This meant, of course, both the initial panic that there really was a fire, followed by unease that while there was no fire no fire authority came to the hotel to verify this, and finally, over 1hr of sleep lost due to the disruption. Night staff at the hotel were unsympathetic. Most frustratingly, upon checking out, the hotel staff were unwilling to compensate me for the disruption in any way. There was absolutely no apology, no discount for that night, no refund, nothing. Not at all. This was the last straw and I will absolutely never be staying at the Art Hotel Milano, or any other hotel part of that hotel group. This negative experience in addition to the inflated price was simply too much for me to tolerate. I, and my conference attendees will certainly be sharing our experience with the conference organizers who I hope will think twice before choosing that hotel. I will also be advising any friends or family who travel to Prato to avoid the hotel. Overcharged (rate was double compared to any other week)

We and a number of other supporters, booked for a single night stay to watch a rugby match (I Cavaliere Prato vs London Irish in the Amlin Cup) and the hotel was ideal. Quite smart, very clean - rooms and facilities good, close enough to encourage many of us to take a walk around Prato town) and really good breakfast buffet (unlike the Florence hotel we'd just stayed at!). Would recommend it BUT suggest to any other travelling supporters, that they organise mini-buses to take them to the stadium which is quite some distance out of town..

Felt and smelt more like an indoor swimming pool than a hotel. Thankfully we could open the window and get some fresh air. On the other hand it was clean and safe and a good location.

The hotel Milano is located very close to the Prato train station which made for easy trips into Florence/Firenze (train tickets were cheap, 2 euros each way). The hotel itself was in decent condition, though nothing spectacular. Breakfast was not included with our room reservation, but we could buy a coffee at the hotel bar in the morning. The only real negative factor about this hotel was the extremely small "garage", which could only accomodate approx 6-7 cars and large vehicles such as a mini van were nearly impossible to jockey around inside for purposes of entry/exit. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. This hotel is a good alternative to staying right in the center of Florence, and also much more affordable.
