It's always nice staying when in for business. It's convenient for me getting to and from the airport. Quick car drive to other eateries and the 101 freeway. Free parking is a plus for sure, convenient gas station down the road to gas your rental before returning to the airport. They have a shuttle to the airport if you let them know. For exercise, pedestrian walk or run the path by the water. It's out of the way enough to be quiet and on the way to everything else.

Our room was clean and spacious but the room needs to be upgraded and repainted. Other than that no complains. Breakfast was amazing, the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time especially early morning hot coffee with the beautiful view of the Bay

Front desk was great, room was nice, hotel itself is a little dated. Airport shuttle was a first come/first serve situation, but as it was the first stop in the morning, we didn't have any issues getting on at the time we wanted. The free breakfast offered a good variety including hot eggs. There are places you can walk to to get food and IN and Out burger was a short taxi ride away. Would recommend, especially for the night before a flight out of SFO. You can watch the planes take off and land all night :) (But the room was really quiet)

With the free breakfast and free parking theres not much else i need to say. Great options at breakfast, clean room, comfy bed, no problem finding parking on-site. They are very accomadating. Have airport shuttle. Rooms are old school but have fridge, microwave, little bar area with ice machine. Only thing i cam complain about is that the temperature in the room was set at like 80 on arrival, as was the temperature in the hallways upstairs and the mini fridge was off, so just prepare for that. But the other amenities as well as the ocean view makes up for it

As expected, this is an older hotel but clean, maintained and comfortable. The room was a good size with nice toiletries provided. The hot breakfast was convenient and the omelets, fruits, and waffles were enjoyed. The airport shuttle service was on time and a plus for our stay. We would stay here again.

Beware the airport shuttle runs only every 45 minutes and not at all from noon to 3:00. Not very convenient for an airport hotel. Breakfast was very good.

Previously our stays have been much better! We waited almost an hour for the airport shuttle and the front desk clerk didn't know how to check my gold Expedia status and insisted we had to pay $40 to be upgraded. Instead, we ended up in a third floor room that had terrible, uncomfortable beds and the room needed updating. The breakfast on the patio was wonderful and the room was located in a quiet place. We're not sure we'll ever stay there again. Coulter, the morning front desk clerk, was very professional and explained how I can avoid the lack of upgrade in the future.

Stately hotel that has aged. Could be a knockout but there are some frayed carpets, the linens are older stock and pilling and the TV channels didn't work.
20 years ago this would have been prime now it needs a refresh.
It was a good value for Bay views.
Probably the best hotel breakfast we had all trip after staying in 6 hotels
I'd stay again if prices are reasonable.

Nice variety of hot items at breakfast. Quiet and restful location close to airport. Shuttle to airport very reliable and punctual. Japanese and Chinese restaurants within walking distance. One mandarin orange peel left in garbage from previous traveller. Other than this, room was clean and comfortable for one night stay. Heritage older style hotel, room was spacious. Waterfront location was lovely. Fridge and microwave were nice to have.

Great quiet convenient location between San Francisco and San Mateo County. Friendly staff and sufficient amenities for a stay. Nice views with a great trail next to it. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Overnight stay from SFC airport. Hotel offers shuttle but wasn’t available for several hours ( when we needed it) had to Uber. No pool.

We have stayed here many times through the years…it definitely need some work…. The curtains both in the room and bathroom were torn in several places, carpets need to be cleaned.. Everything just seemed very worn..

Just loved the property! The staff was wonderful, everything was spotless, rooms very nice as spacious! Loved the coffee, refrigerator and bathroom amenities. The 3 restaurants with close proximity were a great plus! Thank you for an amazing stay!

The hotel was a little out of dated, but it was clean, nice view, with a lot space and the beds were confortable, just not much if restaurants in the area only a couple Asian restaurants, one was hosting a wedding and the other were rude and took forever to bring the menu the food wasn’t good.

Bay Landing is our “go to” hotel whenever we’re in San Francisco. It’s nice and quiet, and we love to eat our breakfast out on the patio and watch the planes coming and going. The walking path along the bay also makes for a lovely stroll watching the pelicans and the planes.

Pleasant, quiet,well ventilated sunny room with view of planes taking off and landing over the bay. The ice machine was out of order and the cable TV service failed briefly, so I would give only 4 stars for condition of property...but otherwise a very comfortable stay. Very easy drive from airport!

Staff were excellent, friendly , welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good, coffee and tea available all day and night. Room was spot on with a bay view.
Only one downside was the shuttle bus to the airport stops between 11.30-15.00, we were flying at 17.45 so had to grab an Uber to the airport

We loved our time! Very convenient, easy access to & from the airport. At worst, a 30 minute walk to the Bart/CalTrain station. Quiet. Had a great breakfast every day.

Very convenient location for a short stay in San Francisco. I first got into a room with a bad smell but they immediately allocated me to another one which was fully cleaned up. Morning breakfast is a plus. The airport shuttle is not very punctuate but if you consider +-5 minutes of the timetable you will be safe.

This hotel is very close to the airport and does offer a shuttle, so that is a perk. The rooms were a little old, with some old carpet and seat stains. The front desk employee who assisted me during check in was excellent and I appreciate his helpfulness. The coffee and breakfast were okay, nothing incredibly vast in terms of offerings.
