The hotel was very nice. I would have given 5 stars except for 1 issue. The king bed was in bad shape. The mattress was very uncomfortable.

The carpet in the hotel was filthy! The bed pillows were horrible as in lumpy and old. The towels were stained, yellowish not white and very rough. The wood on the desk was peeling up, the light sconce on the wall was not working, bulb burned out, the tv remote needed new batteries and the previous guest left ice cream in the refrigerator freezer. On Saturday housekeeping came in and emptied our trash only, our room was not clean and new towels were not provided, our bedding was not made up or changed, we kept the desk busy with getting things. The pool was so dirty on Friday we did not go into the water. On Saturday the young lady at the front desk cleaned all the bugs out of the pool so we could swim. No pool towels provided at the pool! The only positive was the front desk staff went above their duties to try to make it right! Thank you! I worked in the hotel sales industry for over 25 years and could never sell this hotel in the condition it is in! Maintenance and Housekeeping Inspector need to be replaced if it were my hotel. It’s obvious they don’t care about the property. For such a small hotel it should be impeccable! Very disappointed! Was not worth the money we paid for 2 nights!

We were looking for a refuge as our home was without power after Hurricane Beryl. We were so fortunate to land a room here! The lady working the breakfast area was so kind and sympathetic to our situation. She was so welcoming to all ! The desk clerk as well was very helpful and kind. The lobby and our room was very clean and quiet. . Best Westerns are our “go-to” hotels during our travels due to their quality and value. This one proves why. Well done!

Great place

The hotel itself and house keeping were awesome! The front desk was a different story! They seemed to be put out if you asked them anything. They were not friendly at all! But other than that it was a good stay! There is a big open field that we enjoyed with our dog, Cyrix.

The front desk staff were super friendly. There were several hot breakfast options, including waffles, sausage, and eggs. There is no EV charger, and the pool was dirty, but it was too cold to swim anyway (April).

Outdated and dirty pool but room was good and staff was great

For that price ($309) and the "very good" rating I thought it would be pristine. It was a disappointment. It must have been marked up for the eclipse even though I was there Sat-Sun leaving the day before the eclipse. The price today is $120. Bathroom wasn't 100% clean, tissue box was empty, no laundry bag, closet was more like a stand alone locker, towels didn't even match and breakfast was minimal, they were even out of forks.

Visited to watch the Eclipse on 4/8/24. Staff was fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Grounds and eclipse viewing was just as awesome. Hotel just needs a little TLC, and attention to fixing minor trim.

Nice motel, I liked that it was clean, and they already had the tv on when I came in. Bathroom was a little small, no wash rags were left. Felt safe.

The room was amazing easy to check in, but there were little things missing that made us uncomfortable management they take care of the problem made a made up an excuse to keep deposit at checkout

Staff not too professional

I did not like the staff, they were very unwelcoming and very rude. Property was okay.

The house keeping service wasn’t the greatest I kept requesting for body wash and hair conditioner for the shower bottles to be refilled but never got it, I just used the shampoo as body wash other than that great hotel and the front desk people are super friendly

We regularly stop overnight on our trips to Galveston for cruises. It’s about halfway in our drive and I cannot drive more than 4 hrs before needing a rest.

I stay here often and never had a bad experience.

Great property and staff!

On check in, Casey at the front desk went above and beyond fit us. Rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was also great. Stayed 2 days with no complaints. Will surely stay here again

Room had a sweet smile. Carpet soiled, coffee making was not cleaned, there was used soap in shower, ice bucket had a layer ring of dirty grime around it. Toilet flush periodically would continuously run water. The hotel gave us a handicap room. We were told since the room we purchased was through a 3rd party it would be too difficult to switch us to a standard room. Our reservation was for a standard room.

From check-in to check-out, we enjoyed our stay. The room had been updated. The air can be set to continuous fan to cover basic noises. However, the hotel and area were quiet. Breakfast was okay. No complaints. We have family in the area and plan to stay here the next time we are in Corsicana.
