Absolutely worse check in experience I’ve ever known, receptionist was rude, unhelpful and swore twice at me, our room without our knowledge had been cancelled.worst experience of checking in a hotel in forty years of travelling.
VERY DISAPPOINTED EXPEDIA !!!!!!😡

For the price we paid this was a good stay. The apartment was clean and spacious, the animation team went above and beyond (not that we participated). The food was ok, I thought the restaurant was too small for the size of the resort, there wasn’t any personal service like I’ve had in All Inclusives before, it was very much a revolving door system, get into the chaos and eat and get out! Drinks were good. Overall I’d stay again if I got it as cheap as I did but I’m not sure I’d do the All Inclusive package.

Good stay. Food decent. Staff friendly. Could maybe have been a little bit cleaner but overall no complaints

We stayed at the MarSenses in August, so it was of course high season, and that did show. The hotel was at full occupancy throughout our stay, which led to some issues.
Most important thing to note is that there's NO CHILDCARE: the 'mini-club' is simply organised activities that take place at 11, 12, 2 and 3pm. Staff are friendly and great with the kids, but there's no signing in or out, so you'll need to stay around the area.
The pools are all fairly small with limited loungers, so there's little to no chance of getting a lounger until after late afternoon if you haven't reserved one before 10am. While there are supposed to be some areas reserved for quieter swimming, with no ball games, jumping, floats etc, in practice this doesn't happen so it can be tough to find space to just relax!
The kids' splash park is nice but the slides pool is also used for swimming, with kids often playing dangerous games of 'chicken' where the slides come out.
The dining setup is a bit dismal, with 10-15 minute queues at most mealtimes to get into the restaurant. The restaurant itself is very crowded, and food is average at best: not what I'd expect from a 4-star in Europe, even when it's an all-inclusive buffet.
In fairness, it's hard for any hotel to cope well with full occupancy, particularly post-COVID, but the above are the things that really stood out for us as letting the hotel down vs our expectations.

This is not a 4* hotel. While the staff are friendly this review is based solely on the poor standard of accommodation and simply terrible quality food.
The room was tired, old and grubby. Ants everywhere in the apartment in the bedroom, bathroom and living area. Very large can of cockroach spray in one of the kitchen cupboards, never a good sign to be greeted with. Hairs on the blankets on the bed and around the loo. Sofa mattresses stained and tired. The only redeeming feature was the terrace, that was clean.
The food is of really poor quality. Like super poor quality. I get they are catering cheaply on mass but this really isn’t great. We ate out for the 2 nights we stayed (we arrived super late on the first night) the booking had been for 4 nights.
We ended up checking out a day early from this place because we couldn’t take another night of either the food or the room. Booking here was an expensive mistake.
So disappointed as we’d paid such a lot to get a transfer here for what we thought would be 4 days of 4* luxury and paid a fair amount to the hotel. The hotel is a 2* with 1* food.

Staff were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Apartment was nicely furnished and comfortable.
Bathroom needs attention as there is black on the tiles and the shower leaks under the door as the tiles are too high, there is also a smell of damp. Water also came through the front door when it rained.

Staff were all very nice. Only having one bar in the evening was not good.

The room was very small for the four of us and was very damp with black patches on the walls in many places. Inadequate storage and space for four people. I really dont like having two single beds in place of a double. Especially beds at different heights that roll all over the place. The food was on par with other all inclusive resorts we have been to. It was a little odd having to cross the two roads to get to different parts of the complex.
Positives were the splash pool (although ice cold) and the mini disco.
The end few days were at the end of the hotel season and it was clear the place was being packed up such as a restaurant being closed, the entertainment stage closed, coffee machines out of service etc.
Great location for short walks and lovely local beaches.

I had 2 rooms booked as had one for my girls. Nice place. The rooms was nice and clean. Shower did tend to flood so tended to wet and wash, wet and wash. Though I was with 3 teenage girls so flooding probably wasn't helped by that! We were in block 13. Wouldn't like this apartment again as it over looked the car park and children's' pool. We were on ground floor so everyone walked past us. Higher may have been better but not from the children's' playing noise. Hotel is split across a road. Beach side would have been better for us as that's where the 2 pools were. Though there is one on the other side it didn't tend to get a lot of sun this time of year. Staff very friendly. Area is very nice and plenty of reasonable places to eat and drink.

Lots of choices for doing things with a 4 year old. Lots of places to eat and drink. Good food, good service, good resort, clean, well laid out although some might find a few little hills challenging, especially the walk to the beach, it isn't far.

Just returned, sadly, and we had a fabulous time. The hotel was great, fab food, comfortable beds, enough pools for them not to be full and to have plenty of sunbeds. The pools aren't heated which was my only problem as it meant the kids and me didn't want to go in them as much as if they were heated.
The staff were all so friendly and the food was great for an all inclusive.
We would definitely return

The suite was disappointing and not worth the extra paid. The room smelt very musty which ruined it for us. The staff are very friendly and the food was very good. Not 4 star in our view. Pretty average really.

Everything great. Went half-board. One thing not so brilliant is the food. Edible, but not brilliant quality, not surprising for the price. But overall well worth it. Room was excellent, some beautiful coves nearby (Mondrago Cala is the best), and the staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Great quality food and choice for an all inclusive. Good location only a short walk to resort. Had a beautiful room overlooking the beach and would definately go back there.

EXTREMELY HELPFUL STAFF

Pros; rooms clean, spacious and quiet when windows closed. Small supermarket (cash only) nearby, along with cafes, ATM, bus stop etc. Short walk to beach (patrolled and with sun loungers in summer). 3 pool areas - one more quiet with less children running around than the others, able to do late checkout for a small fee. Cons; reception staff unhelpful and unfriendly, food on all inclusive basis terrible - we ate out most of the time, pool areas messy with rubbish and cushions that didn't stay on the loungers, night entertainment loud, rooms a little musty, beds very firm foam mattresses, no drinking water in the room (tap water undrinkable), allocated 2 rooms overlooking the road.
2.0
Nice clean apartment. There wasn't enough sun beds, and usually all were reserved early in the morning. We weren't all inclusive, which it appears most other guests were, so can't comment on the food. We tended to go out to the resort to eat, which was only a short walk awayThe animation team were great, aways on the go entertaining the kids. They loved the mini disco and the bingo!

First time in Cala Ferrara, hotel was fine, stayed on all inclusive basis, plenty of choice but would have got sick of the same things for more than a week, on arrival reception tried to get us to pay extra for a "better" room, we kindly declined. I hate having to pay for a safe but as our room was right on the main road I felt to need to so there was another 21 euro plus a depost of 4, and a further deposit for beach towels of 10 euros each (they werent worth 1 euro so why they insist on a deposit is beyond me and I certainly wouldnt want to keep one) Once in room noticed the sliding balcony door wouldnt lock but that was rectified within an hour so cant complain there, infact all the staff were excellent and were great with our 4 year old son. Room was quite small for the 3 of us but fortunately we wernt in the room much. You have to be up early to get a sun bed around the pool (there are 3 pool areas, but we stayed at the lower pool next to the bar/ restaurant area), I went down before breakfast one morning and almost all the beds had already been "reserved". Overall we had a great time and despite the great staff we won't be rushing back, nothing wrong with it at all but theres more the experience than just one place.

We stayed in this hotel in October 2009 and we could not fault it. Lovely apartment, clean, and the food was first class with a wide range of choice. The resort and immediate area was beautiful as was the beach. The one and only down side was the entertainment which although out of season was poor considering the hotel was fully booked, we were expecting better. Over all we would highly recommend this hotel and resort.

Just got back from the Aparthotel Ferrera Blanca and was very happy with my stay. We asked for and got a quiet superior room which was modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
The hotel was very well presented and although we didn't visit the entertainment on an evening it was always busy.
Access to the beach was literally out of the back entrance of the hotel and a real asset. The hotel offers free internet access which is a bonus!
My only negative comment would be the restaurant - although the food was generally good, the restaurant was always packed out and as we had been allocated the second sitting for our dinner (8.00pm), some of the selections of food had run out. We did try the additional facility of an Italian restaurant on the lower floor which was extremely quiet but not much choice. This would be better employed as a further restaurant (possibly adults only) - to take some of the pressure off the main restaurant. We had to queue several times at 8.15pm to get into the main restaurant.
The beaches around Cala D'or were all brilliant - crystal clear water, white sand and most manned by lifeguards.
