Excellent stay. Everything we needed. The view of Mont Blanc was really good, and the location is excellent. The only slight negative was we found the upstairs to be really warm, almost uncomfortably warm during the night.

I’ve stayed here in the past and the level of service and quality was higher in the past. There was more care and attention to detail. For example, in the past when I’d left my luggage in between stays, it was waiting for me in my room when I returned. This time, they didn’t give me any tags for the luggage, it sat in an unlocked room and when I checked in and asked for it the reception desk said ‘try that room there’ and made no effort to assist me. I had to dig my luggage out from the back behind all of the other bags. And no one checked to verify it was mine. The bath products used to be higher quality. There used to be a Bose stereo in the rooms, now there is none. Overall it is a great place for a longer stay given the kitchen. The location is great and offers views of Mont Blanc and is quiet and the beds are very comfortable.

We really loved our stay in this hotel! It was so conveniently located and since we booked a suite with a kitchen we were able to make meals and it had what we needed for the whole meal.

We stayed in the three bedroom. This is in a seperate building than the rest of Appart Hotel Genepy, in a structure of what is/used to be a cafe. The building lacks the charm of the main building and is only accessible by an outdoor staircase. The rooms were very spartan and the apartment is not well lit - most windows are obstructed and the upstairs rooms only have skylights. We would not stay here again should we return to Chamonix.

We had a fantastic experience at Le Génépy! They were quick to reply to our questions and very accommodating. The building is very charming, the apartment is large and comfortable and location is a stone’s throw from everything. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Would’ve loved to spend more time there!

Check in was at hotel across the street. Didn’t see back entrance to that hotel so gps took me around the block to go in. Staff was friendly and showed me to apartment. It was very big, very clean and modern. Was allowed a min to unload bags in front of apartment then park at parking deck 5 min walk away.

Good value for a short stay. My family and I stayed for 1 night in a 1 bedroom serviced apartment and had a little more than the basic amenities in a standard hotel. The photos in the booking page did not look like our apartment. Quite basic aesthetics. Overall good accomodation.

We booked last minute and was surprised to get this apartment. It was clean and spacious for the 2 of us for and overnight stay as we wanted to climb mint Blanc the following day.
Very central and easy to find. Everyone was pleasant at checking and check out. And we were allowed to leave our bags and pick up later.

Property was decent. Good location and quietly tucked away from the main traffic area. Facilites in excellent working condition. My only conplaint was the room that we had was very stuffy and watm. The air conditioning unti was very loud when on and made frequently loud noises. Otherwise a fantastic find!

The images of the mountain view’s were inaccurate. We stayed in the 3 bedroom townhouse that was described as a penthouse with mountain view. It was a second floor apartment above a coffee shop with views of the back of the grocery store and parking lot. It was unbearably hot in the apartment with a standup air conditioning unit which gave off warm air.

I stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroo apartment. The location is great in the heart of Chamonix at a reasonable price ($380 for 2 nights). Parking was a few steps away from property and a bit difficult to enter and exit due to narrow streets The thing I didnt like was that I need to make an international call to reach the front desk! There is no landline to do so! More over, I needed an iron and an iron board, the reception told me that I have to wait for house keeping who arrives between 8:30 and 9 am to check if they have! Our rooms want cleaned I dont know why, since I didnt have a dont disturbe sign, I assumed that they will clean during the day but they didnt. Some apartments cant be reached by elevators and there was not air conditioning we had to open the windows.

Starting with the reception he was helpful and explained what I needed. With parking available behind the hotel. The apartment was spacious and clean with a full kitchen. Central location for all your needs.

The apartment we stayed was spacious with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. Great did I get and kitchen with beautiful balcony towards mountains. Genepy cafe service was nice and fast. I would definitely recommend this place for a family vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment, once we found it. It is tucked off the street, and a bit difficult to locate, even with Google Maps. Checkin was at the hotel across the parking lot. Once there, everything was great. Can't say enough about the staff, especially at the front desk. We don't speak much French, and they clearly communicated everything in English, showed us our room, explained breakfast, gave recommendations for restaurants, etc. They were fabulous.
Room was as expected, comfortable bed, good wifi, great breakfast if you sign up for that option.

Perfect for our 3 days in Chamonix. Great central location right off main tourist street allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We were there in early May, which is off season, so many things were closed - but still plenty to do!! We loved having the kitchen & there are 3 small grocery stores within a block. Staff was friendly and helpful, let us leave our bags when we arrived in the morning before check-in time so we could walk around. Easy 10 min walk from Geneva bus drop-off.

We loved Appart'Hotel le Genepy. It was perfect for our family with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and because of COVID we used the kitchen and ate mainly in our apartment, which had all of the necessities. Plus there's a supermarket just around the corner and an amazing cheese store and passtiserie close by too! We skied and were directed to a ski rental place close by that brought our equipment over which was kept in the ski room (very convenient). Location was perfect along the Main Street and close to bus stops to go skiing. We felt very safe here and highligh recommend staying here!

Centrally located - basically on the main shopping street, which is super convenient for many things. But that also means you have to expect some logistics when you go skiing since the public car park (5 stories) is +200m away from the hotel.
The apartment is very new and clean, but ours looked straight into the wall of the supermarket next door, and you had to stand up on the balcony and look to the side/up in order to see Mont Blanc (or any other mountains).

It’s a very convenient location to visit the town. Town is small so it’s also convenient to the train & tram. Unfortunately, bad weather prohibits the tram to the mountain peaks & rain made hiking impossible. Our room 3, 1-bedroom apartment, has a nice kitchen to spend time in. Check-in was a little confusing;m, it’s at hotel Le Faucigny, across from it.

Clean, spacious, stylish and well-equipped apartment in the very center of Chamonix village. Walking distance to everything with a supermarket conveniently located just around the corner. With three separate bedrooms, it was perfect for our family of five. We particularly appreciated the changing-room by the entrance, the separate dining room and the balcony. At a location like this, some early morning delivery noises and late night bar music are bound to seep in. We did not mind. Great stay in a great location at a decent price.

Nice apartment in the city centre. If we return to Chamonix another time we would probably book somewhere else, because there was very noisy around the hotel. There is a supermarket next to the apartment and they get deliveries at 6.20am and they drive around with trucks and forklifts for 1 1/2 hour. Behind the apartment there’s a parking lot for the supermarket and people walk back and forth with shopping carts all day long. There is also a lot of noise from the bars on the Main Street

The apartment was well equipped and very clean. There was construction that started at 8:00am so we had to chit our windows which made the room quite warm. The hotel is very charming and ideal for anyone that wants to eat a few meals in. It is close to everything as well.

Location was fantastic. No parking on site so you must pay for off sure parking. No AC. It cools down at night and you can leave the windows open. Great kitchen.

1. The location is not so good like the web information mentioned. The road is still developing, so you need to get out of the stop of "Gaillard, Marché" and walk more.
2. It did provide a small kitchen with an electrical stove and a microwave but the supply for cooking and eating are really poor. eg., only a big plate + a small plate, 2 spoons and 2 forks.
3. The room size for a couple is quite big enough but the bathroom is quite small and old.
