Manager called me day of reservation to confirm room. I arrived on property to discover my room had been given to someone else. I was informed they tried to call me but had the wrong number. I told them the manager just called me earlier that day... and left a voice message that i let them see. How could they have the wrong number? They said , "sorry for the mixup, we cant help you." The man working the front desk was very rude and i just left.

The rooms are in need of upgraded aesthetic and furnishings, using softer colors. The white window shade had several stains, appearing dirty, but overall cleanliness was acceptable. Nothing special about this place, just your average hotel for the price, but they did have adequate parking for 15' moving truck and another vehicle.

I prefer bar soap. Refrigerator wasn’t cold enough to keep frozen food. Shower didn’t drain properly.

It was a nice clean hotel. Not happy about needing an APP to do my laundry but glad they had laundry services. Did not eat breakfast tjere but it seemed like a nice one.

The room was fantastic, very comfortable. The only drawback was noise at night from other parts of the hotel. It wasn’t extremely loud, but was definitely noticeable.

It was okay. Staff could have been more friendly. If you’re allergic to dogs this isn’t a good hotel for you , I wheezed and had a severe reaction in my room. It’s good that it’s dog friendly but those rooms should be cleaned more and kept separately. The free breakfast is always nice.

It was a one night stay. It was great to be able to walk to get dinner. Will stay here again. The only thing is when we checked in the agent had a sign out she would return in a few min. We had to wait about 5 min or so for her to return and check us in. But all and all was great.

WOW, What a staff you have at the hotel,
the 2 young ladies were the Best I have ever had at any hotel I've stayed in period -- The Best -- You need to give them a cash on the spot bonus or a Gift card, We check in the evening of 29 Aug 2024, We will always stay here when in Amarillo.

Really friendly staff very clean property, seemed very busy, which was cool, a little bit off the beaten path, but there’s enough around but it’s conveniently located off of the freeway.

The room was very nice, clean, and had a good amount of space. Unfortunately we had issues with noise throughout our stay. We were in a first floor room and experienced noise from the fitness room (music with heavy bass - open 24 hours), the HVAC system outside our room (a repetitive knocking sound), and the stairwell door right next to us slamming randomly throughout the night.

Dispute over refund. Manager would not cancel a reservation I made just three hours earlier for the wrong date on Expedia even with her Hotel already totally booked. Other Holiday Inn
in Amarillo is a nice location. On my way back through I am staying at the other location. There were no people hanging out smoking in front of the hotel at this other location so my husband felt it was nicer.

This hotel is great in every way. The room and hotel looked brand new, the room was quiet, the bathroom was well lit and the shower was roomy and spotless. The bed was excellent. The breakfast had great selection of both hot and cold foods, and the coffee was great!
