We have stayed there many times before but we were disappointed this time. The service was not like it used to be. The quality of the food in the breakfast room was not up to standard. The Dorint is no longer what it used to be, especially not if you compare it before it was bought by this chain from Sofitel. No longer a five star hotel. Today 3+ star. Sad but true.

Great stay, fantastic, friendly and service minded staff, very professional. Only remark; airconditioning in many rooms dont cool but give warm air. Rooms very warm, hallway outside is cooler than inside the room. Please make the airconditioning in the rooms cooled again.

This is a well located hotel very near to the centre of West Berlin and the restaurants and shops of Kurfurstendamm. Spacious, comfortable rooms with good sized bathrooms. Separate bath and shower. It is a conference hotel. Excellent breakfast, good choice of food. Only criticism is that the bar on the ground floor is pretty soulless with uncomfortable furniture. It used to be a Sofitel and the decor has not changed

I stayed at Dorint for 6nights for the 50th Berlin marathon. I was very happy with my decision. I was very comfortable. The rooms are spacious! I want to give a huge thanks to Abu and Aiko (apologies if I miss spelled) at the front desk for their service. Literally Top tier!!!

The hotel is quite old. The toiletries are quite behind. Breakfast was very nice. The fitness/ spa/ sauna are very nice. Good option to stay in Berlin, for the MESSE visitors.

The room had a view on the neighboring building, so the view is not the best. But the room was extremely spacious, as well as the bathroom with a shower cabin and an additional bathtub. Really impressive. Extremely clean.

The Dorint would be fine, should it not claim itself as high end property - very mediocre , pretty outdated and not super clean. Customer service ( front desk staff) is not super friendly

Excellent stay. Hotel is in a great location with tons of options for transport, food and shopping nearby. Staff were helpful and friendly at check-in. I did not use the restaurant or bar, so I cannot comment on those. The room was very nice and clean. My only complaint is that the mattress was quite firm and creaky.

They were wonderful . upgraded me and everything after i had a horrific ordeal of a stay at Air Berlin located just down the street.

The hotel staff was professional and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. We were very close to the zoo, Berlin's big central Park, shopping, restaurants, and a bus/train station.

Best thing about this hotel is the amazing buffet. Received a chilly welcome with little info on breakfast times, gym, elevator location. Then kept waiting 20 mins whilst they sorted new deposit system and had to be forceful about not being charged a €450 deposit in error at check in. Asked twice if room definitely had a roll out bed as booked and confirmed by email but got to room and no extra roll out bed. Thin cheap old towels and not enough for all 3 of us. Towels not delivered when phoned room service. Corridors and ornaments dusty. Room not serviced on one of our 3 nights. Manager gave complimentary drinks for check in issues but bar staff were rude and unwelcoming when they saw the vouchers and weren’t keen to tell us the variety of soft drinks on offer. Drinks then came no ice and warm. Hotel is well located for the Ku Damm shopping and the buffet was superb

The breakfast was superb.

The property was great, I had a very good room and the breakfast was fantastic. The only problem I had was one night we couldn't get into the parking garage because it was full. We had to park on the street and I got a parking ticket for 20 Euros.

The location was great, but the hotel was not a 5 stars hotel as listed on Expedia. The room amenities were all missing: no tissues in the room or tiolet .. no shampoo and conditioner, no notepad/paper, no pen/pencil only 1 small bottle of complimentary water for a superior room, the bed mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I had a bad experience myself.

I asked for a breakfast/lunch box to-go because I had to leave on my last day before the breakfast buffet started. It was the best to-go box I’ve ever received!! What a nice way to leave the hotel.

We had a fabulous stay - the hotel is nice with big rooms and decent facilities. We had a triple room which was nice - loads of space, lovely bathroom, excellent shower, third bed was a put-up bed and additional extra but very comfy. My friend got upgraded to a junior suite and it was HUGE! Breakfast was fantastic - literally everything I could possibly want and more. The hotel is quite near the Zoo and some main shopping areas, plus there are lots of restaurants nearby. It felt like a very safe location and was really convenient for the U-Bahn. I would definitely stay again when I return to Berlin - great city!

Excellent Hotel,spacious & comfortable room. Super position just 30 seconds walk to KuDamm. Public transport 100 & 200 Bus stops &UBahn all very close. We had a great visit.

We were disappointed. The reception staff told us that all rooms of all the categories are almost the same and there will be no difference if they upgrade us or not. Also we felt very uncomfortable because they had no twin bed rooms and as we are male friends- they wanted us to share one king bed.

Amazing hotel, spacious and cozy rooms, and unbelievably diverse breakfast

I was there for 10 days, but the hotel didn’t really do anything for me…when I checked out, I was snapped at because I couldn’t hear. It is in a great location for transport, shopping, restaurants, and activities.
