We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Sandpiper Beach Club. The location was perfect, just across the street from the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the heated swimming pool was a great bonus. There was plenty to do within walking distance, including many food options. I could not have asked for a better place to stay!

Excellent location within walking distance of the mall/stores in Cape May and right on the beach. The layout of the rooms is great for larger families or multiple families travelling together since there are separate bedrooms, multiple baths and a full kitchen. Friendly and accommodating staff. Superior beds and linens. They make you feel special. We stay here often and will continue to do so.

Everything was excellent

2 bdrm, 2 bath suite. Pros: Suite was very clean, very spacious, full size kitchen, full size appliances, washer/dryer in the suite. Hotel is close to the shopping areas of Cape May and right on the water. The Living room and kitchen had plenty of space to move and relax in without feeling cramped and on top of fellow guests. Cons: Parking is limited to one spot. Sliding door was incredibly drafty and with the wind during the late winter, it was chilly as a result. Big issue was with the one bathroom and the light switch. Flipping the light switch tripped the GFI in the bathroom and when management was notified, they did not seem to care very much and that it was not an uncommon occurrence. Further responses from this issue, we were told that "cell phone signals can trip the GFI outlets", which again, may it seem like they didn't care too much. Also had an outlet in the living room spark more than wanted when plugging in a phone charger. Nit pickings: The mattress in the master bedroom was like a rock and the electrical problems were not a huge issue for us but this could be a sign of a bigger problem in the room we stayed in. The gasket on the freezer door was broken so we did not bother using it. Sliding door had a poor seal and staying there late winter on a chilly day really made the room feel chilly as a result. Overall, my family and I will be back to this hotel as the overall experience far outweighed the nitpickings and cons listed.

What a fantastic place to stay in Cape May. Our room was immaculate, and very large. The beds were extremely plush and comfortable. The view was amazing right across the street from beach. Location is great and within a slight walk (5 minute) to cape May shopping district. Recommend this cape resort 110%.

Stayed for an overnight trip to downtown Cape May. Property was nicely taken care of, and the staff was accommodating. Even know it was the off season we arrived extremally early, and the staff let us check in at 11am. Room was very well stocked with everything you needed in a kitchen. Hotel was also within a 10 minute walk to everything you would want to do downtown.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The room, views, cleanliness and overall place was very enjoyable. Bad weather and all. My wife and I will be back !!!!

Although it wasn’t tourist season so very quiet, the accommodations were spacious, affordable and very comfortable. Had a room that looked directly out to the ocean. Lovely Will come back!

We stayed in an ocean view suite in the middle of winter, and loved our experience. The room was even nicer than we expected! It was extremely clean, probably the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever been in. It was spacious, and had a wonderful view of the ocean and sunset. The staff was also very communicative via text message. Would definitely stay again!

Just took a day trip to get away. The sandpiper was amazing we had a corner room looking right at the ocean amazing view. It was the off season so easy check in and not many people which was amazing.hotel rooms were amazing and comfortable nice kitchen and furniture. Beds were comfortable slept amazing.

Long dark hallway to elevator

Very spacious and updated decor. Great to have an assigned parking spot. Walkable to Congress Hall and Washington St Mall and across street from beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. The AC stopped working in our room during our stay which made it really uncomfortable. However, the room and grounds were very clean.

Location and room quality/cleanliness were outstanding. Communication issue at check out. It appears that they split the charge between two credit cards for two rooms after we asked to put all on one credit card. Will resolve with the hotel. Otherwise a great stay.

The physical layout of the property is ideal with the balconies of most units overlooking the pool with an excellent view of the beach & ocean across the street. Using the balcony during daylight hours was far from ideal as lots of kids were always in the pool. Kids Pool = A lot of noise. If The Sandpiper was an adults only property, it would be truly ideal. Right now, it's not.
