It was a very nice stay.

Nice room but lacking any view and amenities such as a fridge! Nice bathroom ! Great restaurant and in newly renovated condition. Very convenient !

Hotel was perfectly fine. We had excellent service in the bar first 2 nights but on Sunday night we asked for a cheeseboard and were told staff too busy at this stage by man behind bar ( hair shaved and a bun on top). The restaurant was fully booked but it was having a pre service lull - maitre d was having a Ricard with a customer. Hadnt been a problem the night before at all. We left and on the way out Maitred' and another waiter were smoking outside ( when we arrived back later they were doing the same)
Understand places get busy but no excuse here

Excellent stay in well located hotel. Larger rooms with modern bathrooms. Close to many restaurants and importantly, the railway station for those with luggage.

Service from staff not good. No structure, they run around without delivering on customers request. No smiles from staff, they looked tired and uninterested.
One in staff opened suddenly our hotelroom door without OK from us. We felt very uncomfortable with this. We where in room, sleeping.

Could have been amazing, but execution lacked on many areas. When we arrived the receptionist asked if we, for one free glass of champagne, would waver getting the rooms cleaned for the 3 nights we were staying. When we politely declined, as we prefer a fresh room to one glass of champagne, the receptionist was clearly insulted - not the best start service-wise. The sheets on the top side of the duvet had small brown spots (?), some black mould in the shower, and the breakfast was quite mediocre. I travel a lot, and this was subpar for a nice, french hotel. When we ordered an omelet, there were 4 possible fillings, and I ordered the two - and received an omelet with the other two. My friend ordered mushrooms, and received one with ham.
There wasn't anything horrendous persé, but enough small things for it to take away from the experience.
The area and location though was perfect and Champagne is a wonderful area.

Pedestrian walkway with easily 30 restaurants right outside the front door. Locals having beers after work. Quality bistros within a couple blocks Covered parking garage right outside the front door. This is the most convenient hotel you can choose.

Good two night stay here in early September. The hotel is clean, quiet and convenient. It’s the staff that made the difference. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Continental is a lovely, historical property across from the park in Reims. There are a multitude of dining options right outside the door. We did not eat there but the hotel restaurant also has great reviews. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The underground public parking lot is right near the hotel and they will validate guests a portion of the parking costs. The property is clean, well maintained, and lovely. Lots of outdoor plants which creates a very nice atmosphere for your visit to Reims. Very close to the major champagne houses, which we drove to, but you could walk. Also near Notre Dame Reims which is a must see.

Lovely hotel with amazing decor, only stayed I night and would’ve loved to try their restaurant as the menu looked perfect but didn’t get chance… staff on reception were very helpful and the complimentary reusable water bottle and fruit were a nice touch too.
Unfortunately the carpark right opposite was inaccessible when we arrived due to road works but this was no fault of the hotel and entrance was open the next day.

The hotel is very convenient for train station and bars & restaurants but location was best thing about it.
Our room was clean but hallway smelled and main entrance was a bit grubby. The ‘spa’ is actually just a sauna and the lift was broken and out of action for the 3 days we were there.
When you arrive they ask when you want your room cleaned, they say it’s for purpose of being environmentally friendly but it’s because they don't have the staff. We asked for 1 clean but it didn’t happen so we ran out of toilet paper and had no clean towels. If they really were big on the environment then they would have actual cups for the coffee machine in your room rather than paper cups wrapped in plastic.

Very well located, at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. There is a public underground parking just in front of the hotel.
The “Timeless Room” was small, but the bed was excellent and the bathroom well equipped.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Very close to the main train station, and the main shopping and dining district. Has a very good restaurant as well which is highly recommended. The continental breakfast every day is fantastic and worth the price. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again if in the area again.

The Continental is a very attractive well-maintained 19 century hotel with all of the modern amenities. What makes it really special, however, is a staff that goes above and beyond to make every aspect of your stay enjoyable. From checking in, to the restaurant, to the bartenders, to questions/needs I had at the front desk, they were always happy to help me and were obviously concerned that I have the best possible stay. An added bonus is that you are five minutes away from the train station, which connects not only directly to Paris, but also to the neighboring towns of Épernay and Ay to explore other champagne houses in the region. This is absolutely the best option for anyone planning a visit to Reims!

I spent five nights at the Continental and couldn’t have been happier with the hotel. Is central to everything, including the train station, which is just a block away. The staff is friendly and ready to accommodate just about any request. Be sure to try the restaurant, which is very very good.
