Great customer service. Very comfortable.

Not so good. Did NOT have room that was confirmed. Changed room to King bed. No ice bucket, no WIFI (room number and name did not match). No ice machine on first floor.

The place is under a complete Reno. We should have been made aware of this. The room itself, was satisfactory except the bathroom was not new or renovated.

Room was nice. Hotel was being renovated which was not so nice. Some guy parked right below our room had his car alarm go off at 10:30pm right when we ready to fall asleep which caused us to be awake much longer, then at 6am his car alarm went off again which woke us up from a deep sleep. Not really the hotels fault but the staff did not do anything about it either.

Not the best Hampton inn but not the worst either. Just ok

Well we got in after a long day and the TV did not work. He was very old along with the decor. We paid way too much for this room. The carpet was stained and the curtains had holes that allow light in.

We stayed in Barstow on our way to the Grand Canyon just to break up our trip with my elderly parents. My only complaint is that there are never enough ada rooms. My mom is disabled and its always hard to find rooms that accommodate her needs. Nice hotel otherwise and great breakfast

It was okay…. But we bought this hotel specifically for the hot tub. It was under construction as was most of the hotel. That wasn’t as bad as the hotel staff trying to blame me for it by asking me if I had bothered to call the hotel to make sure the hot tub was working. Also they didn’t do anything to make it right or make our stay better. We have to rebook at another hotel for the practice we were planning that included a hotel.

Excellent place to stay

In our bathroom there were noticeable grout holes between the tile and tub, and a dead grasshopper in the ceiling light cover. Everything else was satisfactory.

They made it easy to turn a one-night stay into two nights. Believe it or not, but it isn’t always easy!

I was not aware ahead of time that the facility was being remodeled. The staff and the breakfast area were very nice however the parking was limited because of all the construction, the elevators were taped over to protect them from all the construction work and the carpets and hallways were covered to protect them. I am sure that once completed, the hotel will be very nice, however I do not feel that I should pay full price for this stay since it was not equal to the Hilton properties that I have stayed at.

Where do I start!! We pull up to hotel and over half the parking lot is filled with construction equipment. The building is in various stages of being taken apart. Upon check in, they informed us that the spa wasn't working. No biggie only staying for a night. We get up to our room and find we have no toilet paper and no pillows for the sofa bed. Call the front desk and have those brought up. Get unpacked and find that neither of our TV’s are functional. They blamed that on the construction crew two floors below us all night. I am not kidding when i say EVERY time i went out my door i had to return and have my key reprogrammed to open the door. Then icing on the cake….. My wife goes to take a shower in AM, no hot water. We left asap and moved on to our next stop. Not so much as an offer to change rooms or anything more than a halfhearted “we will look into it.” Pock another option or you will be sorry.

The desk staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Interior of hotel was fine. Excellent size and clean room. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast selections were adequate. Two main concerns were that the hotel was being renovated, about which Expedia did not provide information, and there was loud noise from racing bikes across the street past midnight.

The only thing I was upset about with this hotel, was that they advertised they had a hot tub, but of course it wasn’t working, this seems to be the theme of many hotels, I make my reservations and pay more because I was expecting a hot tub.

Had material stolen from the back of my truck. Had to park far away from the front entrance because parking was full. Then saw why the staff was all parking there.

Clean and safe. Good breakfast.

I loved my stay at this place! I will defenetly stay here again, and will tell my family and friends about this place. It is so convinient since my family and I always travel to California from Vegas! Staff is super friendly!

They were going through big renovations and didn’t mention it. The service and representatives were nice as always.

Comfortable, clean & friendly.

The 2 queen beds suite was spacious and comfortable. Perfect for our group of 4. I like that the property is away from a lot of the other hotels, yet convenient to everything. Currently (8/24) undergoing some renovations, but it was not bothersome. I will stay again when in Barstow.

Hotel is doing a renovation, room is a bit dated, breakfast usual hotel stuff… I prefer to eat elsewhere, good rate for a tub room, good place to crash after a long day of driving

Very good experience

Under complete renovation, looks like the building is just being built, I thought we had been duped on a reservation. You have to walk under scaffolding, on plastic in the hall, elevator has Styrofoam board all over the walls and floor, front desk was rather rude (not completely horrible) but very rude, and the pool area was a disaster! The kid pool was disgusting, garbage floating and at the bottom, big pool was freezing, and the pool deck is a major hazard. There are big pieces of metal poking up from the ground, drainage passages are pulled up from the ground causing you to trip. And then, to to it off, the TV is not working. The TV itself turns on, but there are two dish network boxes and an activation card on the table. You turn in the TV and it says it is not activated (the activation card does not work). We called the front desk and they were willing to give us a room on the other end of the hotel. We did not uproot out baby and move all our stuff to another party of the hotel. We considered the Holiday Inn because it was newer, but though we would reserve the Hampton because we know they are nice, NOT this Hampton. Stay away, especially if you have children, it is a major safety concern with kids and it is filthy. And you are paying actual Hampton price, meanwhile you are getting a Best Value Inn.

This is a great overnight stay and the breakfast offered was very good!

Other than the a/c not cooling, it was great. We were moved to another room where the a/c worked. We would recommend this motel.

Property was in good shape considering under construction. Pool was not clean, spa was down. No meat for breakfast. Overall, However, we like Hampden Inn’s…..very quiet.
