A quick overnight stop during a roadtrip from Portland OR to San Diego. Exactly what was needed - easy on off from I5, very clean, the typical Hampton Inn experience.

It was a pleasant stay. The breakfast was hot food which my children and I enjoyed very much.

Not cleaned and it is so noisy

Was a disappointment on a few different levels. When I arrived they did not have the room I paid for. They downgraded our room and offered it as an option. When I said no thank you they said well your original room is no longer available. There was a price difference and they said that I would have to call Expedia. I called Expedia and they said they needed to talk with hotel. Expedia repeatedly tried to call the hotel and said no one was answering (it was about 9pm and there was no activity in the reception. I went to my room to try and wind down. Took a shower and found black curly hair throughout shower. The two make staff was very dismissive and rude. We normally have great experiences with Hampton Inns - this one was a poor example of the level of service usually provided by this chain. We had a long day on the road and was looking forward to a restful evening. Will never go back there again.

The room had very little amenities. I’m older and I take pills. They had no glasses. I went to the front desk and ask for glasses and the person behind the desk said we give away free coffee over there. Just take some coffee cups and the other problem was it’s a king size bed, and in the restroom, the toilet was the lowest one I’ve ever seen my wife had trouble getting up and down from the toilet

Spacious, clean and comfortable room. We were in town for a wedding and decided to stay here based on pricing. However, given what we paid. I can’t really recommend it as far as value goes. Seemed exorbitantly expensive for a motel in a nondescript town. I’m guessing the price went up due to demand for the rooms for the wedding. I would stay here again if the rate went down by about $100. Then it would be worth it.

Safe and convenient

I was not informed that there was a fee for a pet I asked for a quiet room, but my neighbors were loud I enjoyed the breakfast and the variety of food I liked the lemon water and the coffee area, at the entrance of the hotel

The first room i was assigned had hair in the shower and on the bed. The second room was very dusty

good hotel for short trip

The hotel is a little dated. Stains on the walls, buttons broken on the elevators, very poor water pressure in the shower. Hair in the drains still, smudges and stains on the walls. Walls are thin, I could hear other guests talking in their rooms, tv blaring, music playing, all at 6:00 am. Not really the hotel’s fault, but still annoying. Breakfast was decent, had a large selection of items. Staff were really sweet and helpful. Overall unsure if I would choose this location the next time I’m in town. I’ve been to other Hampton Inns that have better kept rooms.

I've always loved the room size and comfort of the rooms, especially the single king rooms. I didn't have any issues with the A/C like several of my team mates that also stayed here had. Would stay here again in the future.

Very clean. Great staff. Only thing that bothered me was, I requested a bottom floor next to my friend that is temporarily handicap. I am partially handicapped. I was put on the Second floor and my friend was put on the 3rd floor.

I loved how big the room was, and the bed was so comfortable even sharing it with my 14 year old granddaughter! The breakfast was awesome

This hotel is a good value for the area or for anyone needing to do work in Sacramento but who don't want to be in the middle of the city. The neighborhood is safe. There are lots of sidewalks for walking. There is a KFC and a Wendy's adjacent to the hotel and many other fast food and sit down restaurants within driving distance. It is an older hotel but it is kept clean and the staff is very helpful.

Hotel lobby was clean and drinks (coffee, tea and water) were well stocked. Breakfast was ok. Room had many dings and broken furniture. Definitely in need of some refurbishing. Beds were ok.

Left a $40 hydro flask in room & it was never found. So that leads me to believe the cleaning staff took it. My fault but little care on Hamptons end.

The hotel appeared to be in some disrepair. The furniture in the room was scratched up and also in disrepair. We stayed two nights, and our room was never cleaned during the day. We each had 1 bath towel, a couple of washcloths, and a couple of face towels, which were fragile and poor quality. Breakfast service was excellent, except for the paper plates and plastic forks, spoons, and knives. The tables were dirty and sticky where we sat. For what the room cost, we expected more quality and attention to detail. Don't think we could recommend this hotel to other people.

First stay, I asked for a printed receipt and was told it would be emailed. Second stay, I asked for am printed receipt, and was given one. The emailed receipt came for the second stay (duplicate) and not for the first stay. In other words, the staff on July 1 was too damned lazy to print me a receipt.

It it was an amazing stay. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. The room was very nice. The swimming pool was great. The breakfast was excellent. We were close to everything we needed to be near really really good stay.

Very disappointed with the breakfast. Very sparse. No fresh fruit, no yogurt, no granola. Also they informed me that they only clean the rooms once every four days unless requested. I requested to have the room cleaned and they told me that it would be cleaned the next day. They did not clean it as promised. It’s the last time I will stay in a Hampton Inn.
