Close to the train station and you are able to walk to downtown. Good of the price similar to other A&O’s that I’ve stayed at.

Huge amount of racket outside the building.

This was one of the smallest a&o we have been in but the staff were excellent especially will who made our stay memorable and wanting to come back to visit.

Good location for a reasonable price

In general it was a good stay for one night but I did not like that we had to pay an additional fee ( culture tax) because when I booked I thought I paid all I need to. Also the bed linen for 3 beds was not in the room and we were told that it could be picked up at reception. To get the beds done up would have cost extra. Weird concept for a hotel ( I did not book a youth hostel on purpose). The room was clean and big enough for 5 people. One bed seemed to be wobbly and one socket with charging port wasn't working - a half "Desaster" when traveling with teenagers. If you need quietness to fall asleep this hotel might have too many trains passing by. The breakfast was ok. The choice was ok and you could get enough to get you through the morning. The staff in general was nice and friendly.

Good location near the main train station and 1 minute walk to the supermarket. 15/20 minutes walk to the historical center. Rooms are nice and employees are helpful.

This is a Hostel! Just FYI when we were checking in multiple people were at the desk complaining about things which made my check in longer then should. Simple things like they provide the sheets but you make the bed is not a big deal for me but others were quite upset LOL! Parking available €6 but fills up fast but we found found free street parking around corner. Good location 1km from Downton. They have a bar and small menu at hostel. I went with wife and two kids and we had no complaints

We liked the Sky Bar and Patrick who worked there was excellent!

4 blocks from train station, 2 blocks from tram go to City Center. Is a good and a cheap option in Dresden. Price fair, amenities according what you are paying.

The location is not bad, and it's cheap. However, the rooms are tiny and bare, and the whole building created an impression of a former East German prison.

The staff was always polite and even returned my glasses after I had left them at the entertainment area. I was also able to leave my luggage without any additional fee before the available hour for checking into the room, as well as after checking out.

Very clean, close to the Haubtbahnhof, extremely friendly English speaking staff. Plus they lodge Ukrainian refugee mums with kids <3 It has family rooms and the buffet breakfast is decent for the price. The only thing: you'll need to pay a small extra for bed sheets in the dorm. Probably it's mentioned in the small print, but did not appear on the booking sheet which mentioned only the city tax.

This hotel has to upgrade the reservation system. Firstly I received keys for the room which was occupied. I received another room, but… In the middle of the night somebody has entered into my room! Reception gives keys for my room to another guests. Very strange situation… You cannot feel safe if somebody can enter to your room so easy when you are asleep.

Fairly typical a&o, standard rather simple but covering the basics. Staff helpful. Room quite small but clean, bathroom in good shape. Location less than 10min walk from the train station although maybe 20+min walk to the inner Old town - there are trams from the train station but tend to be slow so getting to the centre of things can take a while. Overseeing the nearby railtracks but fairly quiet in my experience - the noise risk probably comes more from inside, depending on the location of the room and people staying nearby.

Hotel was fine, cheap. No reproaches. My key card unfortunately stuckted in a lock door. Hotel staff changed relatively quickly. I appreciated fast check out (only throw the key card in the box).

For what it is, it is clean and comfortable. I am a senior citizen and chose to have a private room and bath, so I can't speak to what the dormitories and baths are like.

We stayed for 2 weeks . The staff are generally unhelpful and very strict on mask mandates . After staying for a week we asked for new towels (which they never change ) and finally got fresh ones. I asked the cleaner for fresh bedding and was refused . Had to ask reception for fresh bedding approval which they did begrudgingly . Our room after 2 weeks was not cleaned once nor the bathroom . Even the rubbish bin was only cleaned twice a week. The hotel location is good and close to city which is why we stayed there . The room was very uncomfortable ,no fridge,no kettle,no glasses, no wardrobe just very uncomfortable stools to sit on. The lights in the room resemble prison lights . Overall I rate our stay 1/10. Unfortunately budget wise it's all we could afford even though at 47euro a night it expensive .

Good location. Friendly staff. Somehow cleaned. The problem was that our bedroom was close to the floor’s entrance door; people would come and go late in the night and early in the morning making a lot of noise. It was really disturbing. Also, the room can get very warm and the only way to cool things a little bit is to leave the windows open; thus, the noise from the trains and cars on the streets make you wake up during the entire night. Apart from that, I highly recommend staying there.

Careful if your travelling alone you won’t be given a twin room of hotel is busy ! As I was given a single room which is not what is advertised on Hotels.com and ended up on wrong side of hotel from what I was hoping for 😞

Great location, friendly & helpful staff, excellent facilities and great value for money. If I ever return to Dresden I'll definitely be staying at the Novotel.

One of the cheapest stays during my 16 nights across Europe but best nights sleep and great view from room on a high floor facing railway lines 👍

We booked a room for one night with the breakfast and payed like that, but when we arrived they told us we are not entitled to breakfast, so we had to pay it once again.

Staff very friendlly booked out in morning allowed to leave luggagge in storage untill eving for my flight. So would recommend to any one on a budget and only a 5 min walk from the central station.
