We had a great experience at Holiday Inn in Tappahannock, VA. All was good. From our check in all of the staff were very kind. Very clean and quiet. Excellent stay!

The young man at the front desk when we checked in provided excellent customer service. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast included both cold and hot items as well as a pancake machine. Would stay again.

Hotel staff was very nice . We needed to add an extra day to reaervation, and there was a mess-up in charges. The front desk & managememt were quick to fix it. Room itself was very nice & met our needs, and breakfast was great. The hotel is located right next to Applebees & Walmart and in close proximity to other food & gas locations. The only thing that could have been better to give our stay a perfect rating was near the 3rd floor elevator. Someone either spilled something or got sick, and there was an odor from it. Otherwise great stay & woupd recommend this hotel.

Wonderful stay. Clean spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Every staff member we encountered were so helpful and pleasant. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back again! Can’t wait to bring my dog next time!!

The room was clean and staff was great, however at 9:30am the housekeeper knocked on the door twice and then tried to open the door. Luckily we had the upper lock on so they couldn’t come into the room. Suggest that they check to see if people have checked out before opening the door as we were not decent at that time and if we hadn’t had the upper lock they would have walked in on an inappropriate situation

Overall I would rate this hotel okay. Rooms and bathrooms definitely could use some improvement and deep cleaning. Room view was of some air conditioners so nothing exciting there. Breakfast was okay as well.

Had a confirmed reservation and the property was overbooked. I was turned away from the hotel with a confirmed expedia reservation.

Bath tub is unsafe…bottom is very slippery…only one handhold at opposite end of tub from secured soap/shampoo dispensers…

The staff was professional and friendly. Access road to the hotel from the main road was full of large pot holes. It was not a clear path from the main road to the hotel parking lot (lots of turns, limited visibility, through a Walmart parking lot). Location was convenient to stores, restaurants, the river.

The bathroom for the room we rented could use a little more TLC than was it is being given.

This hotel had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I didn’t want to get up and leave o could have lay there all day. Will come again.

The outside space should need to be bigger especially for those who smoke. Dining as far as breakfast even should at least be till 10:00. You can at least get a good breakfast before you go around the world to make some money to pay your hotel bill.

Thought it was nice room and location until I got my credit card report charging me an extra 250.00 dollars because they said someone smoked in the room. They are LIARS .No one smoked in that room.

Very clean room, hallways and common areas. Bed was extremely comfortable. Customer service was tremendous from front desk staff and breakfast servers. Hot breakfast was very good and offered multiple choices. Best breakfast we’ve had at a hotel that was included with stay.
