The bed was very comfortable, but you could hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms/hallway. Don’t recommend for light sleepers. The breakfast had a lot of hot options, and the dollar shuttle service to Newport/downtown was nice.

Had the room for two nights. Called multiple times to tell the hotel we would not check in until 6 am on the second day so please do not give the room away. It was in their hotel notes and they still gave the room away so our room was not ready upon arrival. Really disappointing as they acknowledged it was in their notes.

Room was clean but my daughter and i ended up with bites on day 2. We both wore pants and ended up with bites/reaction sat (noticed sun morning). Didnt notice bedbugs in our room but who knows. Only difference from day 1 was we went swimming but came back to the room and showed. The other 3 in our room didn't end up with any reaction.

Everything about my visit was great but my beds were very uncomfortable. I have a bad back & the bed didn't help at all. But the staff were kind, helpful and the breakfast was pretty good.

We went for an anniversary stay and it was agood hotel. You had to drive to Newport a mile away. There was little bars around where we were at though. I would stay again.

We had a super great time here. It was very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was nice. The hotel was right across the river from downtown Cincinnati and its location was very convenient for what we planned to do during our stay. All staff members we interacted with were very friendly as well! Will definitely stay here again!

One night stay for Cincinnati reds game with family. Room was ok. Have stayed at much nicer holiday inn expresses. The shower thing did not work to turn shower into bath for small child. The floor was swept completely over by the window Doritos and chips on carpet. Hotel was close to game and options to eat nearby. Quiet area. Bed was comfortable.

The room smelled terrible like food. The carpets are in much need of cleaning. The bathroom sink didn’t want to drain so I pulled the stopper out and it was covered in mold and crap-gross. Definitely the hotel needs a complete overhaul. The staff at the front desk were nice. The trolley was easy and convenient. Didn’t dare try to eat the bread or use the pool. Will definitely not stay there again.

This property was great! I felt very welcomed and safe. The room was extremely clean and well stocked with towels. All staff were very nice. The breakfast was good and convenient. You had the option to sit in the dining room or they even had little take away bags, which were super cute! You can tell that they put a lot effort into this hotel to make it nice.

We waited an hour past our check in time, supposedly because the room. hadn’t been cleaned yet. When we finally was able to go to our room, I noticed a sock laying in the floor. I thought it belonged to one of our kids, nope it was left from the last guest. So, my question is, did the room even get cleaned?

When I was looking to book this room I was waiting on a paycheck and prices went up 50$ a night, the price gouging was a bit nuts. The bed was comfy, there was plenty of room, and the breakfast was good but I've had rooms with a smart tv and shampoo bottles that weren't under a padlock for less. The staff and location were good, but I felt overcharged for what I got.

Though short I would have liked it to be cleaner. Drains were very very slow, keys needed to be replaced 3 times because of not working, shower needs attention, and floors could use a good vacuum.

Room was clean and neat. Loved the nice long bench for providing an optimal place to have an open suitcase. Nice breakfast selections. Shower head was not adjustable and way too low for my 6' husband, and walls were really thin - we could hear our neighbor's TV as well as his phone calls! Other than that, it was an excellent place to stay and I would recommend it to others.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, amenities were great. Only thing was some noticeable wear and tear around the hotel but not a big deal!
I LOVED that the TANK trolley stopped right in front and can take you to Newport, Cincy, and Covington! We definitely will be coming back next time!!

Didn’t like that the temperature in are room was cold at 65 but if we turn it to 69 the heat turn on. Also didn’t like they didn’t tell us if we wanted new towels we had to tell them. The staff didn’t tell us how to use the elevator since we did not ever did that before

Dirty cup left in window seal when arrived. Ceiling drywall is clipping. Stains in carpet and on wall. Shower head the broken and nasty. I expect better for 200 a night
