Lovely hotel, very nicely decorated room, sufficient parking BUT the room we had was very noisy and the blinds did little to stop the light coming in meaning we were awake from the early hours!!

Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available.

The Limes was a lovely place to stay in Maldon. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant being attached was convenient. We stayed 4 nights including over the weekend and it was always nice and quiet while going to sleep. The room was always clean when we came back. They did a lovely job.

Plenty of parking, easy check in, clean comfortable room with four poster bed and beer and soft drinks in complimentary fridge in room. Couldnt fault it

Check in was super efficient and the location was great . Our room was pretty but a little small . The bathroom was a good size . There is a little street noise but they provide a great sleep kit . The tea and coffee tray is very well stocked .parking is easy .

The room was fantastic the free mini bar was a bonus

Shower in room 4 took a very long time to drain, I was worried I was going to flood the bathroom. There was no kettle in room 2 and one of the bed posts was in the way of the tv But very enjoyable

it was soo lovely, not far at all from high street, short walk, the room was amazing the bed was massive, look so cosy when you walked in. i will be back

Our room was in the annexe. Everything was spotlessly clean throughout, the bed comfy and the furnishings were of good quality. We were shown to our room by a friendly member of staff, which was a nice touch. The shower was very good, but there was no shelf inside the cubicle for shampoo etc and shelf space inside the bathroom for your own toiletries was very limited. The loo flush was very poor. The reception was closed on arrival, perhaps understandable for a small establishment, but there was no doorbell (reception is in a separate free standing unit) to ring when it was unstaffed. As the drawers in the room where quite small and shallow, they would not accommodate winter weight jumpers, so it would have been helpful to have more coat hangers The room description detailed a “coffee maker”, I’m sorry, but an electric kettle is not a coffee maker. Although the guest house can do little about this, (earplugs were provided), we were woken quite early by traffic noise. To match other places where we have recently stayed, for the amount paid, we would expect to have a small fridge in the room.

Booked The Limes room for our wedding anniversary. The guest house is lovely and the room was outstanding. Loved the thought put into the room for guests as we had tea, coffee and drinks too in the fridge even beers for us to enjoy. The bed was so comfortable and was very romantic. All was excellent however there is a loud extraction system for the restaurant kitchen which is built to the side of the room didn't turn off until 10.30 pm which was a bit disappointing, a loud door also which kept banging when they go in and out to serve in the restaurant so I wouldn't recommend it of you want to sleep before 10pm or a light sleeper. I expected at least a breakfast included for the price we paid. The guest house is homely and staff were very helpful. Maldon also a lovely place to stay and visit. Overall we rated it good.

Really nice room, comfortable and clean. Got the room ready for us early as we had a wedding to attend. Friendly and helpful staff. The biscuits, chocolates and drinks in the room was a nice touch! We didn’t have breakfast as our kids wouldn’t have eaten it unfortunately. Really easy to walk to the high street. We would stay again if we are in the area.

Pleasant stay. Comfortable, though a bit hot. The main challenge is getting in and out of the car park.

From our arrival to the moment we left, Giovanni and his team could not have been more helpful. Exceptional! The food was also unbelievably good.

Cannot fault The Limes or their onsite restaurant Luigis. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Always smiling. Although we hadn't booked a table the staff were able to seat us - on a Saturday night too - it was in their little cabin - so cosy. Our room was small but immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was a little difficult to find the entrance/car park but after a couple of 'phone calls we found it. We would definitely recommend and will go back. For longer next time!

Fantastic service from finding it (yes finding the bright pink rendered building on market hill. I must be the only one who turned onto the wrong bright pink rendered building on market hill lol) check in was polite and efficient. Room was lovely. Great size for myself. Comfy bed and freeview on a decent sized wall mounted TV. Great night's sleep. I had to pass breakfast as I was in Maldon on business and have an early meeting. When I requested my invoice by email for my expenses it was too me first thing the following morning which makes doing my expenses near month ever more easy. Thank you for everything. Would definitely recommend and next time I'm in Essex I'll definitely be back Thank you all
