Wifi. Our room did not work, told front desk then they asked me to call the IT company I stayed in the phone 39 minutes and he said he took care of it wait 15 minutes and it should work now 15 hours later no WiFi.

Service was ok. The breakfast was not with a lot of selections and they were out of juices. But overall I loved my room. Very clean and comfortable.

We arrived to a room that strongly reeked of mold, a shower with a broken / cracked tub, and bedsheets with a 2ft wide urine stain that had soaked through to the fitted sheet. The front desk clerk was extremely apathetic to these issues and seemed very irritated to have to make a phone call to housekeeping on our behalf.
However, the housekeeping guy was wonderful and helped us swap out our sheets.
I didn’t realize Best Western had devolved into a Motel 6 at some point over the last several years, it’s really a bummer. We will never stay at a Best Western again.

The night auditor could have been more welcoming. The rooms had a musty odor, but otherwise clean. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights rest. The breakfast was good.

Everything was great except the owners making a scene with a homeless man trying to get a free breakfast. He didn’t even get much. I would have loved to have given him my breakfast. But they have strict rules about carrying breakfast from the breakfast room. The gentleman was so well mannered and polite.

The Hotel had a bad smell in it like mildew or some sort of water damage. It was so bad that when I left, the smell was still lingering in my bags and in my clothes.

First room was filled with ants and smelled moldy. Was offered a different room, no discount or compensation. Was still moldy smelling. Breakfast wasn’t kept stocked up and the breads were stale. AC was noisy! Probably the WORST hotel experience in a very, very long time. I will not return to this hotel EVER again.

The staff was distracted at check in , but check in was smooth. The room , however, smelled like it had either caught fire or mildewed. Either way it made it uncomfortable to sleep.

The property was well maintained..but the inside the room could stand a better smell inside..Carpet may need to be shampooing or change out everything else is great...Second time staying here and will return...Prices or great when booked in advanced..

Most of the staff is welcoming and happy to help. Good bed and clean sheets. Some of the room needs attention, just regular maintenance stuff on shower/tub, room chair is very dated. But good size tv and great pillows!

Everything was great, despite there being a kids soccer team staying the night it was really quiet. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t get extra towels. You had to turn in the towel you used to get another. Kinda hard especially with having a baby. Over all it was a good room. Plenty of space.

Smelled weird, housekeeping staff didnt keep up with cleaning the rooms each day just trash and towels upon request, blankets were dirty with spots upon arrival, breakfast selection was limited and meh. You pay for what you get and it was affordable.

The hotel smells like mold. Our room smelled real bad, but was told no rooms were available. Elevator was hot. The room itself was nice. I doubt i will stay here again.

It was ok. Hotel needs an update and work on the smell. The AC was loud and old. It kept sounding like it was going to break.

Rooms and amenities are what we expected from Best Western. A clean, comfortable nights stay while we were on the road. Check-in was disappointing as we reserved 5 rooms under a single name but the clerk was unable to pull our reservation based on the name of the person who paid for all the rooms and made the reservation. He had to pull up each room individually and we had to sign in for each room individually rather than all at once. I dont know if this was a shortcoming of the reservation system or the clerk but it was confusing and frustrating to hear initially that we didnt have all the rooms reserved that we thought we did.

You had to take your dirty towels to the front desk and ask for clean towels each day.
They charged your card on file at the beginning of the day and not when you arrived at the hotel - advertised as pay at hotel.
My nieces had a couple of roaches in their room.

The condition of the hotel was good. However, two of the rooms our group booked had a large live flying roach. There was an overwhelming mildew/mold smell on the lower level. We didn’t have an option of changing hotels. So, we asked to be moved to a higher floor. At first the room smelled great. However, as the day wore on the room began to smell of mildew. We were told all of the hotels in Texas City had this problem. I don’t know how true that is. But, I feel that people should be warned before hand. Not a good experience.
