Everything was good, however i haf a problem with the wifi and my main reason for staying was to do a video meeting which went very badly also the tub did not drain that well during showers.

The only reasons I can’t give 5 stars are the lack of a fridge, the lack of a bathroom counter, and paper-thin walls. Also, streaming wasn’t possible, despite the apps on the TV, and there were no premium channels.

We were in town for college visit on football weekend so hotels were very limited. I had stayed here before but it was LONG ago. Needless to say this hotel is definitely showing its age. Shower curtain wasn't long enough and completely soaked the bathroom floor each time someone showered. Room was just ok...nothing great and showed wear and tear. Breakfast left a lot to be desired but I thought it was nice to have snacks and drinks in the lobby each day.

It was quiet and comfortable. There were very few people there so it was quiet. We enjoyed the peace.

Check-in was easy and they communicated with me prior to check-in.
I love that they had snacks and drinks (water and coke...not adult beverages) during check-in.
It seemed that I could hear ever little noise in the hall, but not much they can do about that I guess.
Everything inside seemed to be clean with no issues.
It is convenient to many restaurants and the University of Alabama.
Most importantly, I did not notice any safety concerns.
Bottom line....I would stay again.

The customer service and check was great. But my sink wouldn't drain the water out and my shower wasn't clean. I requested room service to fix the sink and shower. The sink was fixed but the shower waa not cleaned nor addressed.

Minimal price so a few problems- sheets were stained, no coffee pot in room. Staff helpful but not proactive. Decent for price.

Staff was very friendly. Bathroom was not clean. There was hair in the tub and sink, tub looked like it wasn’t cleaned and there was a dirty towel left hanging on the bathroom door.

The overall stay was great; however, my first room was on the first floor and I discovered a bug(tick) on the bed. I notified the staff immediately and my room was change. The staff apologize and gave me another room. From that point, my stay was great.

The entire hotel was dirty. The rooms were filthy, carpet was nasty, restrooms needs updates. There was dog hair all over the couch. Electrical outlets didn’t work. Worst over night stay I’ve ever experienced

The desk folks here actually seem to give a rip. I will be back every time I have to come to town for a family visit, unless they jack up the room rates.

I booked a double queen room and ended up with a single with a sofa bed. There was hair in the bathroom floor and the room was extremely hot when we checked in.
Also, the continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.

Pictures online false advertisement. Room was tiny, bed was little, carpet torn up, sheets stained, and bathroom was horrible…it smelled sour and tub didn’t drain well at all. Will never stay here again while visiting Tuscaloosa!

My son and I came to town for the Alabama football camp. Great location. Convenient to campus and nearby restaurants. Very friendly staff and they are going through renovations. Our room was super nice!!! Will definitely stay there again!!!!

Thin walls - lots of noise from neighbors slamming doors late at night and early in the morning plus someone playing loud music on their phone as they walked down the hall
No coffee maker, cups, or ice bucket in room (front desk did give me an ice bucket)
Not many breakfast selections
Wheel on luggage cart fell off while we were using it
Carpet in room needed to be cleaned
This was ok for this stay but we're unlikely to stay here again.

The staff was great and super nice. Our room had mold all up along the bathroom wall. I did notify the front desk and was moved into a different room. Overall, it was an okay experience.

I've stayed at this hotel 2 times prior and everything was good. This time there were no tissues, the shower curtain had mold, the shower was dirty with water stains, and the room was hot upon entering. If these things were fixed it would have been the perfect stay.

I stayed in one of the little "suite" rooms. It was well equipped, the little couch in the room was comfortable and it even had a wet bar! There was ample desk space to do work on your laptop w/plenty of outlets to plug equipment in. Bed was adequate (I'm a bed snob). All in all; great room, especially for the low price (little over a Hondo for the night).
Only complaint I had, and really not the Hotels fault, was the strong odors of Fresh Marijuana and smoked marijuana. I get it, I'm a cop, I bring my guns into the room out from my truck. I suppose a drug dealer has to move his stash into the room for the same reasons. Here is a difference though, I didn't shoot off my pistol as opposed to the dealer that fired up his stash. The world is going to Heck in a Handbasket.

Very good stay for a budget hotel. Clean, comfortable, safe, good breakfast. I particularly like the dim lights in the room. They had some brighter lights, as well, but my eyes have a hard time adjusting to bright lights in the morning, so I liked being able to turn on a dim light to start before going straight for the full brightness.

Dirty filthy hotel. Stained carpet and shower head falling out of wall. Staff friendly and kind. Would never stay here again.

The parking lot was very trashy. While it appeared that the hotel staff did everything they could to keep it clean, it appeared that some of the guests were dumping trash out of their cars into the parking lot. I felt like the hotel was clean and suspect that the staff is constantly picking up the parking lot. I likely wouldn't stay at this particular location again. It's too bad because the hotel itself seemed to be well-tended.
