I was very impressed with the hotel. The name ‘comfort hotel’ is the perfect description. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful as my elderly and infirm parents required a room close to reception - not far to walk - so she changed the room for easier access. We chose to have a snack/meal before bed and the receptionist assisted with this also. Sadly I think our meal was cooked using a microwave and were possibly cooked from frozen in packets as the meal was a disappointment. (Not the receptionist fault). Breakfast was great after a comfortable night.

Hotel in need of a makeover. Damp & bad smell in corridor to rooms on lower level . Mould on bathroom ceiling, room cold & damp. Bathroom surprisingly large , hot water & hair dryer a bonus. Receptionist friendly but disappointing that she didn’t inform us that bar was closing although only customers in the bar . Breakfast ok but not worth price.

The property was convenient. But it was very noisy at night. Hammering and banging at 2 o’clock in the morning. We were cold in bed and found a spare duvet which we put on the bed but if did not make much difference. No phone or tea coffee making facilities. The room was clean but very shabby. We ate at the hotel and although the choice was limited the food was good. Reception staff whdd ed n we arrived were very friendly. Breakfast choice was not great very limited. No eggs. Just on red selection of cold meat and cheese. We thought for the price it should have been better.

We spent one night on return trip to Calais. Travelled as a couple with a child and small dog in a triple/family room. Basic room, all ok, great breakfast included, allowed is to have the dog with us in the conservatory/dining area which meant we could eat as a family which was great. Would stop again 👍

Obviously this is a budget hotel but the room was very tired and grubby. Would not stay again or recommend. In need of refurbishment. We were in room 9.

Staff were very helpful. Area a little limited in places to eat other than in the hotel.

This was a nice hotel. Easy parking, friendly staff and a comfortable room. Was a bit tired tho could do with a fresh lick of paint.

Noisy. Could hear people in the corridor. Talking in other rooms. 2 lights didn’t work. Dirty surface in the bathroom. Paint chipped and bashed. Breakfast was very disappointing - choice and drinks. Bed very hard and uncomfortable. Booked due to 24 hours reception which it did have. Staff were really nice

Great hotel good value for money

Nice budget hotel.

1 hour by train to Paris. but needed a taxi to Trainstation. About 25-30 min walk to the station. Did not find a taxi on the way back so we walked back. Nice staff. water from shower get ut in the room.. Well for only a slep place it was okay.

Very basic hotel. On the outskirts of the town and local area not particularly pleasant

Cheap hotel that looks ok in photos, but very disappointing in real life. Room was plain filty. Wee on toilet seat (despite having the clean seal), half used cigarette pack on top of cupboard, stained towels and black hand prints all over toilet door. Didn't expect luxury at this price but I expect clean. Also tax charge higher than stated on booking. Won't stay again!

Everything is a little tired. The shower area was dirty, the toilet door squeaked terribly, The toilet door needed paint.

Service was fantastic. Staff was always available to help. Breakfast and meals were great with good selection and quality. However the bed is the room was not comfortable at all and the hotel is kind of noisy but that's probably because of the guests and not because of the staff. I will still recommend this hotel.

Convenient to the commercial area. Quiet area. Good road connection

Great value hotel, and a good nights sleep. 24 hour reception a bonus .Only a few parking spaces around hotel so had to park a short dustance away.No real hardship and would definitely recommend the hotel .

Restaurant was closed and there are no others within walking distance so hotel website should make this clear.

Quiet and good location for motorway. Restaurant closed on Sunday.

I booked with Kyriad in Jan. as part of our annual pilgrimage to Spain.Our sat-nav directed us to the correct postcode- but no Kyriad! After touring the area both by car and on foot round an industrial estate with no one to ask as it was a Sunday we eventually went in to the only hotel in the vicinity. It was the Comfort Hotel and when asking where the the Kyriad was we were furious to be told “ this is it”. No Notification or signage to indicate.I blame Expedia and Kyriad for that!We were then told that the restaurant was closed on Sunday and it said so on their web site. Whose-Kyriad or Comfort. It involved getting into the car and driving to the centre. Usually the chain hotels have eating facilities near them!
