I had a lovely large comfortable room in a hotel ideally located to access the various attractions in Derby. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very good location next to St Mary’s Catholic Church close to the shopping area and lots of dining option .

Good location very close to the town centre. Rooms were a little dated and water pressure in the shower was very poor.

Two night midweek stay in an executive room. Room was spacious, clean with a large comfortable bed. Tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and safe. Bathroom could do with updating, shower over bath! A little noisy as the hotel is flanked by two dual carriageways but not unacceptable. Very well situated easy walk into town centre. Staff very hospitable, some more than others. Breakfast excellent, lots to choose from. Would recommend this hotel.

High rise in the middle of the expressway in town. Constant traffic noise due to ill fitted windows. Check in staff rude and abrupt, breakfast staff no eye contract and unfriendly, no one wants to be there attitude. Bed and pillows uncormfortable with air con controller like a 100w lamp even on stand by!! Never again

Seen a few reviews about the parking. We arrived late so the car park beneath the hotel was closed but chapel street was more than suitable and cheap for one night with the discount from the hotel. We had a push chair and travel cot and it was not an issue at all to use this car park. We would visit again if staying in this area.

It was overnight stay to break up a long journey. Very polite staff. Friendly welcome by reception staff. Breakfast was good selection supported by friendly abd attentive staff.

My room wasn't cleaned properly - used coffee mug left beside the bed. Coffee and tea bags which I used were not replaced for the second day. Toiletries placed too high above bath and sink. A child would not be able to reach. Breakfast was okay but not obvious where one could order veggie/vegan options.

I visited for a weekend wedding with my wife & 2 year old daughter. The breakfast was good and value for money paid. I was there for two nights, although my room was very clean it would have been nice to have my room given a once over after the first night. There was no maid service & the double bed is small i recomned getting the executive room rather than family room, parking was £8 per night. I was lucky to get a space on site. The restaurant staff and behind the front desk were helpful & friendly. A few issues with the room key, the hotel cards are sensitive to mobile phones. All in a good weekend, its a good location.

Hotel was lovely short walk to the centre which was great. Nice breakfast only slight downside is not much parking on site but the cost of the nearby parking wasn’t expensive

On arrival parking which was secure was available. The welcome and check in by Bina was excellent. She gave us clear information and suggestions as it was our first stay in Derby where we were attending a cricket match. About 15 minutes walk to Derbyshire cricket ground. We had drinks and breakfast which were very good. The room was spotless and the shower very powerful

Disappointed with parking

Great hotel. Needs a car park that isn’t full.

Very disappointed with the bar in the evening when we arrived back from an event. We asked for Rum and coke but had no rum, then said we would have a vodka and coke instead but again no vodka….. we then settled on just a pint to larger but again no Larger only bottles ??? The bar man explained it had been a busy weekend. Surely bookings should have highlighted this was going to happen and you should have planned accordingly. Having a bar is an important part of us staying away at Hotels and these drinks are the most common staples of a usual bar…..

It was spot on very secure parking across the road extremely polite staff wish I had the same cleaners at my house you could eat your dinner off the floors ,very relaxed atmosphere, only a 4 the television in the bar was tiny for a big area and happened to be England playing in the euro's,(Tele at home is definitely bigger) but yer I'd stay again breakfast was good as well 👍

2 night weekend stay, felt the welcome and arrival was an inconvenience to the staff. Breakfast day 1 very good, Breakfast day 2 disastrous lack of hot food , bread, milk. Asked for two poached eggs which took nearly 25 minutes to arrive. No room service or change of towels!!!

Well located for the town centre, good views from floor to ceiling windows from the 7th floor. Room slightly dated for example the shower was over the bath with a shower curtain but it was well maintained, clean and excellent water pressure. Bed comfy, breakfast average, food in the bar decent enough, staff all friendly. A couple of extras in the room such as water and a biscuit would have been good as t wasn't a budget cost.

The hotel staff are very professional and friendly, parking is limited so its first come first serve. The rooms are spacious, the only draw back is that the sofa bed is very uncomfortable. Overall beautiful city cetre hotel easily accessible. Great restaurant menu and food.

I had a dreadful check-in experience - the so-called Manager was incredibly slow and uncommunicative. Colleagues either side of her had to step in and sort out finding me a room. I ended up getting a free breakfast for the palaver.
