Overall the stay was good. My one issue is that the water cuts off throughout the day. You may be taking a shower and water cuts off. It usually return within a few minutes, but there were a few instances that the water was gone for about 15 to 20 minutes.

On my last day on the island there was no running water for hours.

Small resort. Very close to Megan's Bay. Cat sanctuary. Great staff. Restaurant/bar on site. They no longer offer daily cleaning service.

Our room had roaches, and our shower never seemed to get hot. Transportation was very limited to the area and we were unaware of this prior to booking this property.

I plan to stay here next time I visit St. Thomas. I loved the coffee shop where the staff is friendly. They made delicious coffees and teas along with breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. The grounds are beautifully filled with tropical plants - that was my favorite part. They have cute kittens lounging and prancing around. They are hard to resist to give a pat or pet as they walk by the pool or other outdoor areas. ALL The staff is great and friendly. The maintenance, housekeeping and receptionists talk to you like old friends. It feels like my tropical villa home away from home. I can’t wait to visit there AGAIN soon.

I had a wonderful stay at the Flamboyan! I really like the property, the location is excellent, and the service is really lovely. I will definitely be back.

The property was beautiful, the staff friendly and accommodating, and I felt safe as a solo female traveler.

Hotel overall is ok. Room setup is nice but there were some things that needed to be replaced. There is no daily housekeeping. But I would recommend for any stay.

I would like to share some areas of improvement: I found water in the main entrance at door of my room every day. A lot noise in the room above my room. The restaurant won’t offer explicit gluten free, alternative options in the meal. I highly recommend to specify the time of the cooking for each dish to avoid unnecessary waiting, this best practice is common in many restaurants. I shared this, because I went to the restaurant for the recommendation of the security guard. In my first day visiting, after a long trip, the expectation was high for a first impresión, one time for me was enough. I ordered one of specials I was suggested and another group of people who came after me placed their order. They did not take long to have their food ready, fast enough they were already eating. The priority was the group over one customer? Am still wondering if the color of skin matters for this? Coincidence or not, the true was all of the group members were white and I was not. I lost the appetite in the waiting, a man in the bar decided to pay the drink when I got up exhausted. I never asked him for that, I guess he tried to make things less stressful for me. The restaurant didn’t charge me the meal since I never had it. It was too late for me by the time they brought it. I think overall it is a beautiful place, people are hospitable, after the incident. I decided not to go to the restaurant again.

The electric went off several times and generator didn’t kick on. By the time we came back from dinner it was fine.

Great resort quiet, great coffee shop "The Grind" and great restaurant "Root 42" and short walk to Magen's Bay.. Had a great time..

Helpful, courteous staff. I travel for work, and Lori helped me with my reservation the first time I stayed here when work plans changed. Wanda is great! She called the airport to find out if flights were still going out the day I was leaving due to software update issues. The restaurant on site has great food. Northside Grind is a coffee shop on the property with great food too. Clean, little kitchenette area in the rooms. This is my second stay and will be my go-to anytime I’m here!

The Flamboyan has some very nice features and almost succeeds on exuding an ambiance of paradise, but this is hampered by the general property conditions being noticeably unmaintained. Aspects that I enjoyed were the swimming pool, on-site dining and cafe, proximity to Magens Bay, and cleanliness of room. The beach is a walkable distance if you don't mind big hills (and lack of sidewalks) but there's nothing else of note without a taxi or rental car. The staff was courteous and the check-in/out process was easy. I wish items such as our patio table, exterior grounds, and in particular the hottub was better maintained so that I could give a better overall rating because I did enjoy my short stay.

The resort was ok. Just that everything is so far away.

It is a small resort with a coffee/sandwich shop and a restaurant. Great staff. My only complaint is the bottom pool...not available in the morning because the man cleaning the pool takes hours and there are dead bugs in the pool. Very close to Megan's Bay.

There were cats everywhere might as well call it the cat resort. My room was cleaned only one time during my entire stay. The food here was mediocre, the outdoor pool was only cleaned once out of the 4 days I stayed on the resort. The female staff were rude and unhelpful. Also there were bugs in the rooms and beds termites to be exact. Overall experience was not resort like at all.

This hotel is a perfect vacation spot for guests that will be spending time at Magens Bay and relaxing. Quality coffee shop with delicious options for breakfast and lunch. Then there is the restaurant with a fabulous view and nice clean pools as well.

Brought four of my friends for my birthday & although service was slow, the food was great! Enough toiletries were stocked in the rooms but when housekeeping came through they moved a lot of our items around & did not return them to a tidy spot. Roof leaked during heavy rains but otherwise breathtaking artwork & views.

The property was truly unique and charming. We loved the convenience of having everything right there, with stunning views no matter where you were. It featured two pools, a bar, and a restaurant, making everything within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed being out in nature and simply relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially the lady who checked us in. She was incredibly sweet and had just returned from jury duty. Although I can't remember her name, she was tall, had blondish hair, a slim build, and a very personable demeanor. Our room was perfect, just the right size for our short stay. Next time, we'll definitely plan to stay longer. I can't emphasize enough how wonderful the ambiance of the place was.

Beautiful spot overlooking Magens Bay. Two pools and a great little bar and restaurant with lots of friendly people. Shower has almost no water pressure and no coffee in the room. Plus the safe did not work. But the beautiful pool area and the people who work here made up for it.
