The staff is kind and helpful. Room was what to be expected for a 3 star hotel but clean and fairly spacious

Great property. Staff was excellent, room large for European standards, great breakfast , close to everything.

My wife and two kids stayed here for 1 night and had a great experience. The two Italian girls working the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Our room was beautful with views of the Swiss Alps. I which we could have stayed here longer.

Gorgeous view.. clean comfortable beds. Notably missing coffee machine. Not enough toilet paper for our stay.

Excellwnt property with amazing views, lovely welcome with swift chieck in, the room was amazing with a balcony overlookkng the Eiger Mountain range. Lovely Breakfast with friendly staff, we really enjoyed the Sauna after a long day of sightseeing... we will be back !!

Extremely kind staff to welcome us to the hotel. The location is also very central and close to good restaurants and the cable car station to First. The (private) sauna is also a treat after a long walk!

Had a fantastic stay at Grinderwalderhof, very helpful and friendly staff, great roomy rooms & the view is unbelievable! Highly recommended stay!

Great location on main street in town, near Firstbahn gondola, with food market on block and many eating and drinking options nearby. Rooms clean and well-appointed, included breakfast good, and friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

The room had an amazing view. The desk, cleaning and breakfast staff were all very polite and diligent. The breakfast buffet was very well run.

Courteous staff, excellent location, great for families and reasonably priced. Apartment room allowed us to cook meals and breakfast was included.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Grindelwalderhof. Went to Grindelwald to do a bit of skiing and Grindelwalderhof is about half way between the Grindelwald train station and the First Cable Car lift up to the First Ski resort. That made it a pretty easy walk to get anywhere. Great ski rental place, Buni Sports, right across the street. The hotel gives you a guest card for free bus transportation and the bus stop in either direction is right in front of the hotel. We had a double room that included a small balcony looking out on to the main street. There was a bit of street noise, but at night it is very quite as no many cars out and about. The room was practical in its layout, with typical feather beds, built in wardrobe closets, and nice bathtub with shower, and included a small mini-bar with some room for personal items. The price included free wi-fi and breakfast buffet each morning. The reception desk was helpful i checking us in and out quickly. The reception desk closes at 8pm, so important to remember to use their "key" system if you plan on being out after that (you lock your room key on a board and it take a key that lets you get back in the hotel when the front door is locked). The housekeeping staff were efficient, no complaints about cleanliness of the room or hotel. All in all would happily stay here again.

Very clean and cozy apartment. Excellent location. Right in front of bus stop to Bodmi Arena where we have ski lessons. Also 1 min walk to Buri Sports for our ski equipment rental Breakfast was cozy and sufficient to start our day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to friends

We have got a room facing the mountain and the location is good which is only 8mins away from the station and 5mins from the First station.

Staffs are very helpful and there is a small supermarket just downstairs and close at 7pm. Stunning view from the room since there is just a mini golf course in the front and no building hiding the beautiful view, lovely balcony which allow you to chill and enjoy the lovely view.

We stayed here for 4 nights during beginning of September. We loved the location.View of Eiger mountain from balcony was stunning.Staff was very nice and always willing to help.Breakfast was good too.We will definitely stay here if we come back to Grindelwald.

This hotel is right in the middle of Grindelwald. The views from our balcony were superb. The only down side was the street noise at night. We left the window open to bring air in the room which didn’t help to muffle the noise. But it’s a sacrifice you make for the views.

Original plan for to stay for 2nights but we fell in love with Grindelwald and booked an extra day. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near First Adventure, mini golf and Main Street.

Gridelwald is amazing, and this is a fine hotel from which to experience it. Great room, location, and included breakfast!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights with my family in late May 2019. When we checked in, we told the receptionist that we may leave the hotel at around 7am on the day that we check out. We would like to know if the hotel could help us to keep the luggage for few hours after check out. The receptionist said we could leave the luggage and the room key at our room in the morning. She also told us that she could help to prepare a packed breakfast for us! The receptionist is very nice and helpful. The room that we stayed is apartment Eiger. There is balcony, you could enjoy the stunning views of the Eiger, Wetterhorn and Schreckhorn even through you don’t leave room! In addition, the hotel is centrally located, about 10 minutes walk from the Grindelwald railway station, 5 minutes walk to the gondola to First. The ski bus stop is just located in front of the hotel. If you go to the hotel by bus from the train station, it only takes 1 min. The Migros (supermarket) is located at the basement, it very convenient to get ingredients e.g. cheese, buns and snacks for a day of mountain hiking. of course you could prepare your dinner at the department and then have the dinner at the balcony and enjoy the sunset view of the mountains! I really enjoyed the dinner time with my family at the room! Overall, cosy hotel with good location, fantastic views and comfortable warm and quiet room, excellent services! If my family visit Grindelwald again, we would definitely stay here again.
