The Sonesta hotel charged a higher rate for one of the rooms, even when we showed proof of the reservation on Hotels.com.

This was a very nice hotel in a good location. The room was spacious and very clean! My friend and I loved the breakfast buffet which was included in the price!

Everything was exceptional. Very personable and friendly ambiance.

Everyone is very caring, i got altitude sickness for two days ( traveling solo) and they check on me and accommodating me to stay another night due to being sick and not able to get around.

Overall a pretty good stay here. From start the finish staff were extremely accommodating and courteous and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Hands down definitely one of the best bfast buffets I’ve ever had inclusive with a room reservation.

Sonesta was located on a lovely street that was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The free shuttle and breakfast was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was close to everything that we want to see, we ask for a taxi to going to the bus station and no one told us , that the bus station is 300 ft from the hotel

Hotel was modern, clean, and close to everything. Staff was super helpful. Breakfast is served from 3am on to accommodate early tours. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is clean and staff is very helpful. Very close to train station. This is a 3 star by global standards and 4 star by Cusco standards. No complains. Walls are a little thin so there is some noise but it dies down by 10pm. Overall wouldn’t mind staying again

Great location, staff was excellent, there are lots of options at the breakfast buffet, and the noise from traffic outfront was supprisingly minimal.

The staff was very kind and eager to offer help with any questions or concerns. The hotel was clean, quiet, and offered a delicious breakfast buffet. The area is also close to the Wanchaq train station and the main plaza which made shopping and reaching tourist destinations convenient.

Everyone here are really nice. They want to take care of the travelers. The buffet is huge and with so many options that any diet restrictions could be fine here. Everything is walking distance and all of the tours I had the end up really close to the hotel so to me the location was great

Great walkable area with sight to visit, restaurants, and near town center. Restaurant in hotel DELICIOUS and staff made you fill like VIP starting at the front door.

Very nice accommodations . Only issues we had was no air conditioning working . And no Expedia upgrade despite three separate reservations . They claimed the hotel was fully booked . All 3 times

Wonderful choice! Hotel staff was friendly, helpful and very efficient. Great restaurant and bar with beautifully prepared food and drink options. Lovely park view across the street. Located in a very safe and walkable neighborhood near local shops and restaurants. I will definitely come back when visiting Cusco!

This is one of the best hotel stays I have even been into. The rooms are equipped with all the necessary facilities and amenities. The reception area is full of positive energy and always available for any help, be it calling a taxi for u, walking through your bill, exchanging currency… you name it and they have a solution. Super humble and hospitable! Lets jump into the location. Huge Artisan market right in front along with a small park in the median crossing. Basically, u don’t hav to go anywhere for your Peru gift shopping unless you want to. Its right there! To your left as u step out of hotel, you walk for 0.5 miles, and u have the famous Plaza De Armas… center of Cusco with all the top restaurants, shopping brands, museums, etc. Coming to food they have an in house restaurant called Mamaji… OMG… the buffet is super exhaustive… mix of local cuisines, American style breakfast… one of the best I have ever experienced in a hotel breakfast buffet! I wud recommend to give a tey to their dinner menu as well at least once. Coming to the in house tour desk they have. Not the best I would say… Only reason I went thru them was bcoz it was in house. The price was little bit on the higher side also they did few false commitments which I didn’t like. Management should take a look at this side I would say.

It was super easy to get to and if you contact the hotel in advance they have a shuttle to and from the airport. The breakfast was fantastic and the walk to the historic center was close. A lot of restaurants around the hotel within walking distance.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff.

Our stay was excellent. The hotel was in a great location and room was clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. The only recommendation I have is giving the option of early check in. During my whole 3 weeks in Peru this was the only hotel that didn’t have early check in or have room available when we arrived. I had even emailed hotel ahead of time but was told it was based on availability. We arrived in Cusco around 5:30 am and had to wait at least 5 hours for a room. We were exhausted after traveling for 20 hours as well as being sick. We had to pay to eat at breakfast buffet while waiting. It was expensive and I barely ate anything but it had a lot of options and it was very good. We were obviously upset from waiting and front desk staff were professional but really couldn’t do much to facilitate things. Besides that hiccup, the entire stay was excellent.

The Sonesta Cusco is a great hotel. It’s an easy 20 min walk to the Plaza Armas and other sights. I would recommend it.
