Based on earlier reviews we expected so much better. We had room 417, constant AC at 63 degrees; maintenance man could not fix; then room 418, too hot and unable to repair; moved to room 415 - finally! Lamp shade cracked and shabby, clock not working in two rooms and same two rooms had non working frig; linens clean and white, mattresses worn. I’m on crutches and 79 years old so husband did all the moving from room to room. Every failure was facility management problem - not local employees. Quite frankly we should receive a refund. Holiday Inn Express Corp should be held accountable.

The bed was worn out and sunken in. The couch was ragged. The carpet was unraveling and filthy. Turned my white sock brown. The curtains were half way ripped down. It smelled like an old dirty place. We were exhausted so we literally fell into the beds. That was the only reason we didn’t leave. I paid what I consider a ridiculous amount for an atrocious room. That was sub-par at best!!!!

The hotel and its staff were great. We just had a loud number who had children that screamed and ran around their room into the early morning hours. There was also a party going on in the room above us with super loud music early in the morning.
Hotel was clean, super easy access from interstate.

Check in was great. Staff was incredible and welcoming.
Got my room… and the bathroom had what resembled a poo stain on the back of the toilet. The water/water pressure was awful. Took forever for the toilet to flush, the sink seemed to have air in the line, and the shower kept going in and out. One of the bulbs in my room was out as well.
Noticed during my stay, and I am not sure if it is from the interstate or not, that my room would seemingly shake at random. At one point, I googled earthquakes near by.

The hotel is pretty nice. I reserved the room based on price and location. Was surprised to find that I had to leave 250 dollar deposit for a 100 dollar reservation. Seemed a little ridiculous. The fire alarm in my room went off at 3 am and then stopped. Room smelled of burnt toast but there was no smell in the hallway, so I went back to bed Not sure what that was about.

Our room was ok. Except the lights from the building behind us lite up our room. The curtains don’t close to dim the lights. The tub had a big stain in it.

First off there is an additional $50 deposit that was not listed on Expedia.. I'm a Holiday Inn Rewards member & never pay a deposit anywhere else. There is no free breakfast. Our Room was diry, soap scum on the shower walls hair in the bathroom.. some weird substance on the wall that I hope was "white lotion" Check out is at 11, we requested a late Chekout & they gave us a 12:00 time. Even with that at 10:30 with out a knock the maid unlocks the door & just walks in & says oh i thought you were gone!! Omg! Brought this up at check out.. along with the unclean room & it was oh hmm thats weird .. I'll have to talk to the head maid about that! Not impressed the quality was definitely lacking!

We had traveled most of the day and visited with family in Columbia. We got some much needed good rest here. It was quiet, clean and comfy.

Overall, you do get what you pay for. I was surprised by the lack of cleanliness in the room. The bathtub had sitting water in the middle of the tub as well as in the soap dishes. It's as if housekeeping did not tend to the tub. Towels were clean, shampoo and conditioner we're readily available but the body soap dispenser in the shower was empty. I called to the front desk and she said I needed to come down there to get it. Unfortunately, she could not find any and handed me a tiny bar of soap that we could use for myself and my two grandchildren.
We ate breakfast in the restaurant and was immediately attented to and the food was good and the service was excellent.
We used the swimming pool and it was both warm and inviting but the towels were sized between a bath towel and a hand towel.
The front desk staff checked me in and out quickly.

Came with my family for 2 nights it was relaxing clean and ac was cold! They even had a mini fridge to store our drinks and nice hot showers after long day. Comfy clean beds as well and I always check them definitely bug free. Will definitely stay here again!

This is a great hotel for what i need. Very close to my family and plenty of parking. There are a couple times each year where this gets pretty busy. The rest ofnthe time it is smooth sailing.
There is a Tesla charging station in back for those with an EV. Restaurant is nice.

Everything worked and it was quiet. I liked the fact that there were Tesla chargers in the parking lot. That was very convenient.

Our stay was fair at best. Check in took a bit longer than usual as the front desk attendant seemed new. Our room was muggy, but cool. Seems to need better ventilation. Breakfast was also fair at best. Our server was very polite.

Broken springs in chair; desk chair had black shoe polish; totally rundown. Not up to the holiday inn standards I am accustomed to.

The staff is friendly and helpful. It's possible to run the HVAC fan constantly to block noise from the hallways. The breakfast buffet is hot, fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. I will stay here again.

I was happy with our stay. We got a suite for 6 people at a good price. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and you’re one (mile) freeway exit away from super walmart and other shopping. Nice pool, heated, with a shower available to rinse off. It was everything we wanted it to be !
