Friendly landlord, good breakfast options and very comfortable bed!

Excellent location and Paul a superb mine host. Breakfast set me up for the rest of the day. Nice and handy for town centre and beach.

Description of property in the advert is wildly wrong. Its not "upmarket". There is no bar/lounge, nor on-site parking. The condition of the floor in our room was terrible, with several very loose boards and one large whole where you would have gone through the floor. Whilst the mattresses was new it was rather poor in quality. I have never experienced a duvet that was narrower than the bed itself. Breakfast however was absolutely 1st class.

One night business trip. The guest house is well placed close to promenade and the town centre. Beautiful views from the prom across to Arran. The owner Paul is very friendly and helpful. My room was vey well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of choice for breakfast too. Can’t fault it.

We cant fault the B&B. Liz was very welcoming and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We were looking to have an early check in so we could get changed for a wedding and one phone call later the staff were focusing on cleaning our room so it would be ready first by the time we arrived. We cannot recommend the burnside enough.

Excellent location for catching the ferry in Cairnyan. Very clean, lovely family run Guest House.
