Rooms smelled moldy. Property tried defogging room But it didn’t work. Wife had to get medical attention to deal with allergies.

I was not expecting the weather to be so bad

I had 2x diner in the positano restaurant and the lady told me that they did not accept credit nor debit USD cards. Very frustrating. At the check in the lady was not nice. Very rude and annoying.

Excellent property!!! Jurere area is beautiful. Positano restaurant at the hotel served us delicious food!! Larissa provided us with an outstanding service!! The room was as advertised, very comfortable and quiet at night- had construction noise during the day. Amenities were good. Pool area and grounds well taking care!!! Staff treated us very well. Good positive vibes. Breakfast met our needs. Excellent service overall!

Rooms are dated, furniture is old and dirty. Smells bad. The shower has mold in it.

The hotel is perfectly located in Jurere, service is great the pool gym etc. are in great shape. It’s a very nice hotel. But it could be much better with less stalinistic rules that take away the good will. I inquired for a late checkout for an hour ( 11am checkout time is stupid and I have never seen this in Brazil ) and I was told you can only ask for that in the morning which kinda defeats the purpose. They have a weird towel card system and if you don’t bring them back they charge you for the really not very luxurious beach towels. So you have to bring them back at the other end of the hotel first. They call you at 10:45 to make sure you really don’t overstay and once you did the checkout you can’t have a drink at the pool anymore since they take away the bracelet and there is no way around it. So basically a great hotel that could benefit greatly from some customer friendlier rules.

No value for money. No expected services for a 4 star hotel.

Nice location for Juruhe beach. But it took an hour to get checked in and get my room then it took 30 minutes to check out and that was very inconvenient when needing to catch my flight.

This hotel one of the best that I stayed around in Floripa. Location is great, Definitely coming back to this hotel everything here was awesome.

The hotel is well-located. Setback from the beach but only a couple minutes walk to a beautiful beach. The pedestrian shopping and restaurant area is right beside the hotel and very convenient. Though a bit noisy at night for rooms on that side of the hotel. The kids club was a bonus - very friendly and energetic staff. The pool area is nice but quite congested and the adult pool is quite cold and therefore generally empty. Property is starting to show some age.

The property was very well kept and very kid friendly. The property was well maintained and is located near a nice shopping area and a very upscale residential neighborhood. The negatives for me were the nearby beach which was nice but extremely crowded in January and the facility was geared more toward families than travelers without kids.

Great spot for a relaxing weekend between business trips in Brazil, or a family or couple holiday to get some sun!

No WiFi or Internet in hotel upon arrival Due to rain. Inflexible staff wanted to charge an extra fee of almost $100 USD for a 9 year old child to visit for a few hours. Locality is dead as far as restaurants, bars or nightlife. Need to travel to other towns for same. The hotel is supposed to have chairs and umbrellas at the beach but the attendant takes off if there is a drizzle. Bar in lobby unattended at night as is the pool bar if sun is not shining. Chexkout at 11 while checking at 3. If you want to stay past Noon until say 1 or 2 PM you have to pay 50 percent surcharge. Not all worth the exorbitant expense.

Loved my stay at the hotel. Everything was top-notch, great location and service. Breakfast was amazing. Concierges were so friendly and helpful. I definitely want to go back!

Bad room service, long wait to check in, expensive meals

We stayed at this hotel in mid April to attend a wedding. April is fall and off-season, comparable to October in the US. The weather was still excellent, mostly upper-70s to low 80s, but some nights down into the upper 50's. The hotel was not very busy except on the weekend, and even then it was far from full, and several of the local restaurants and shops were closed. When we arrived and were taken to our room, it was directly beside the elevator. We had reserved a Jurere "suite" in order to avoid the twin beds and to get an ocean view. The view was on the outside of the hotel and not bad, but I requested we be moved away from the elevator, and was pleasantly surprised that they gave us an end corner suite, overlooking the mountains and the beach. Very nice. The hotel courtyard and the beach were beautiful, and the hotel also owns and operates a beachside bar/restaurant called Simple on the Beach, which is great because you can eat and drink there and charge everything to your room. Interestingly we found the caiprihanias to be better at the poolside bar than at Simple, but we still enjoyed everything. Breakfast was fine, and we found the staff friendly and helpful, and several who speak english. I recommend you get a car and a map if you come here for more than a day or two in order to get around and see more of this beautiful island. We like it, but if we came back we'd probably look for something else due to the high price.

Hotel was very beautiful, just like the pictures. They have 3 pools, one cool, one warm and one indoors. Very lush surroundings. Rooms are spacious w/balcony frid and extra sink. Gym is good size. One block from the beach with private access
