Friendly staff, clean and simple accommodation in a great location

Proximity to James St and the beach was great. The apartment didn't feel very private. Some privacy blinds or curtains would be good so you can see out but not in. The apartment also had an odour that was a bit fishy

Only a bed and shower and toilet. The male owner came in, in the morning, after I told him I was leaving, and I told him my partner was checking out later. My partner could have been naked or in the shower!!

Great unit for our stay, everything on hand you could possibly need. Great location close to the beach and cafes/restaurants. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We booked in from Sydney for a weekend stay while attending a Wedding nearby. The manager, Michael was convivial and helpful. The apartment was spacious, well appointed, clean and neatly kept and with a great pool and bbq area. With interesting cafes, restaurants and shops nearby, and a pub and beach just around the corner, Burleigh Palms made our stay both relaxing and fun...

Really good location, very clean and combine the. One of the beds may need replacing soon as a bit sunken but overall nice and good service.

The apartment was a great location for our visit. Having a laundry and kitchen in the apartment was a benefit over a hotel room. There is WiFi at the apartment even though this isn't listed on the site. Very convenient passage way to the beach so you don't have to go round via the main road (with a great coffee shop at the end of the path!). The management were very friendly and willing to share information about local restaurants etc.

We only stayed for the night, but it was pleasant. So we didn't get to really enjoy the whole experience of being so close to the beach and the shops.

We only stayed for one night in unit 3 and when we walked in all we could smell was stale cigarettes. The unit was very dark with not much natural light at all and the furniture was old and outdated.The bathroom had been renovated and was the best part of the unit. The grounds were well kept and the area around the pool was pleasant. Overall it needs some updating for the prices they charge.

Good position in Burleigh Heads with short cut to beach. Close to bars and action but just off main highway however road noise not too bad. Great hosts very helpful. Good secure car parking and apartment was well furnished with even washer and drier. Pool and seating and bbq area. Only downside no free wifi.

Very nice and clean place to stay we unfortunately had a permanent tenant that lived above where we were staying and he played his music till after 3am in the morning, it wasn't until we contacted the manager that the music finally ceased.

Nice stay nice staff (Kay) very helpful and offered a lot in recommendations of where events shops and the market took place. The room was well presented and was very smartly furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The location was also good near the beach (just around the corner, with shops and dinning out across the road. Nice location for access to all roads going either north or south. Would recommend for any one to stay there.

Burleigh Palms was great. Really good location - close to a great beach for swimming and walking and sandcastles. Lots of great places to eat nearby and to buy food/drink, clothes, the Saturday market etc. A good base for exploring the Gold Coast and beyond. The room was really clean, nice linen and the beds were really comfortable. The apartment was an excellent size and layout for a family. Having a washing machine and dryer in our room was so useful for our family. The courtyard was great - we really liked having a ground level room, near the pool. Free and secure parking so close to the rooms very helpful. Reception was friendly and easy. It was useful having lots of information brochures.

Upon arrival I could not find any staff to check me in. It took about 10 minutes till someone was able to help, not a huge deal though. The grounds were well kept, nice landscape and pool. Once I entered the apartment I noticed it was a little outdated. Very spacious for a large family to be comfortable. A washer and dryer in unit was a plus! I was only there one night because I had stayed elsewhere for two weeks prior. For the price it was OK. I feel if the units were renovated and updated it would be a much better stay. Although for the area it seemed fitting and from what else I saw, other hotels were of similar fashion. I would stay again.

Managers were very friendly and went the extra yard. Changed our room from 3rd floor to Ground floor due to stairs. Great position and no road noise from inside Unit. Very pleasing stay, Thank you
