I would highly recommend the JR Hotel Grande delle Nazioni! Located centrally along the boardwalk & within 10-15 walking distance of a old Town Bari and many great restaurants!

Great hotel!!

I loved the location, close but not too close to the old city…Fun decor, and beautiful restaurant/pool!

This hotel is NOT a 5***** hotel. Beds are extremely uncomfortable and hotel is dirty.

Breakfast buffet was lackluster.

The hotel is perfectly located ( maybe not right in the of the oldest part of town but very near the opera house and right on the water!) the room was great! And the balcony view was spectacular. The rooftop pool was amazing but the gym is almost non existent. It would be ok for cardio ( there’s a treadmill, & stationary bike) but not for any type of weight lifting and no room for exercising. The hotel breakfast buffet was awesome I highly recommend that but skip dining in the restaurant for lunch or dinner …. Waiters were totally rude and unaccommodating (especially the female waiters.) we had a table of 6 our bill was $300-$400 and we were treated like “American scum” it was so bad at one point I used google translator to the male waiter & asked him to ask the female waiters to please stop being so rude to us as we are trying to celebrate my friend’s recent marriage in Florence. The drinks took forever! Water, wine, cocktails - u name it - we waited about 20 mins for each drink we ordered and when I reminded the waitress about our drinks we ordered she walked away with her hand up in the air like she didn’t have time for me and said “just wait!” There were 2 other tables sat in the restaurant- it wasn’t busy at all! One other thing to mention is that the shower in our room was located right in the center of the room and only partially private. So if you are traveling with a friend or someone u don’t want to watch you shower … I suggest asking questions about privacy

Very nice hotel with funky decor. Amazing views from our balcony. Comfortable beds clean room. Service was excellent. Breakfast buffet was adequate. Great location

The bathroom was molded, because of my condition I need to use several pillows I ask for 4 extra pillows they said they only have 3 extra because they were busy.

This hotel is ridiculously expensive for what it offers. It’s the type of hotel that pretends to be more than it is. There’s no parking lot in the facility as it suggests. Rather, they drive your car to a lot far from the hotel at the tune of 30 euros. Breakfast is 20 euros. Ridiculous and it’s just an okay hotel - in the US, a 3-star hotel. Location is waterfront and beautiful but it’s a good 15-20 minute walk to old part of town. Will not stay again and cannot recommend.

Close to old town

We had a sea view and large balcony on the 4th floor and we were very happy with it. We hosted a small birthday party one evening and watched skullers row their boats in the mornings. My wife and I had a massage and it was molto bene (From Palma). Bar was quiet but it was only late March. We ate out so I cannot comment on the hotel food. My friend said the breakfast (€20) looked really good though as he fetched a cappuccino for for his wife. The staff were very helpful printing tickets for Ryan Air (just email the front desk). We both enjoyed the small but warm pool. I used the gym too and it was fine but also small. The bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again.

From start to finish everyone made our stay so special, we managed to check in early when we arrived, the room was clean and very modern with a lovely view over the sea. The breakfast was excellent with loads of choice. We would definatly go back tot his hotel a really good base in a great location

Staff was super friendly and helpful. I wish hotel had told me about parking arrangement before I got there. Would have made check in easier. I stayed at 4 cheaper hotels in Puglia prior to this stay and they qll had better wifi, and showers- water temperature and pressure.

No bar, couldn’t enjoy sitting in upper restaurant outdoor area unless you purchased from the restaurant.

Great hotel with exceptional food and restaurant location, very good room, good location by the sea, friendly and helpful service. Impressive rooftop pool. Immediate area not that attractive but a few bars and restaurants.

The place needs a face lift. It looks like an art deco original. The location is fantastic and an easy walk to old town.

Friendly staff, great location just south of Old Town and short walking distance. Rooms seems worn and cleaning could be better. Breakfast restaurant was located great at top floor with view of the sea. Good varion, but scrambled eggs not cooked enough. Great hotel, but should be 4 star, not five.
