Naturally puts one at ease. Quiet, peaceful and restful. Helpful, courteous & professional staff, but not stuffy or acting inconvenienced by the presence of guests. Go out of your way to stay here. Charming, quiet, clean .. makes you want to stay longer.

This was a lovely B&B. We enjoyed the porches in the Composers House as well as a glass of wine in the the garden outside of the main building. The breakfast was a multi-course culinary extravaganza: fresh from the oven blueberry muffin, bowl of fresh fruit, and your choice of an entree. I had the stuffed pancakes with the most delicious sausage links and scrambled eggs.
Only issue was that there was quite a bit of outdoor partying going on in nearby houses until about 2:30 am (Thursday night/early morning Friday). As I'm a lighter sleeper, a sound machine would have made this a non-issue.
Loved that it was close enough to walk to boutiques on the square and to campus.,

This is an amazing gem in Bloomington within easy walking distance of both downtown and the IU campus. The staff was very friendly, the room superb, and the breakfast amazing.

Great experience but I do wish the breakfast menu had more options
Also it was a little noisy at times with the music playing and doors slamming. The neighborhood is safe enough and adequate parking. Overall it was a decent experience but not amazing. Thanks.

It was a very interesting place, I wasn't expecting such an old home. Thats not a bad thing at all. My husband and I ended up leaving at 10pm to go back home because we felt like we didn't have privacy due to everyone staying there hearing everything in the house. The pictures of the room made it seem so much bigger than what you really get. If you like staying in a historic home then this is for you but if you want a private getaway then i would have to say go somewhere else. Friendly staff and guests.

This is a very elegant and comfortable boutique hotel in Bloomington. Generally I’ve stayed at The Graduate but found this to be on par if not a little nicer. The location is solid, the room was well-appointed and comfortable (AC very cold!) and the breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend vs. the chain hotels on a visit to Btown!

This place is rather quiet and has very friendly staff. Its a beautiful set of houses with wonderful history and the owner was glad to tell me about it. I highly recommend this spot for stays.

I haven't stayed in a traditional bed and breakfast for many years but the Showers Inn reminded me just how great they can be. The staff was incredible in reaching out beforehand, during checkin and throughout the stay. The room was wonderful. The made to order breakfast was incredible. Will definitely stay here again if I am ever in Bloomington again.

So charming and adorable! The pictures do not do this historic property justice! The room was spacious and orderly. I loved that the bathroom was far from the bed and the wet bar was really nice. The bed was so comfortable and had very nice linens. It was surprisingly quiet too though the hotel was pretty full. The breakfast was to die for! We had muffins, a take on an eggs Benedict and apple crepes with cranberry syrup. The staff was very helpful and everything was a short walk so the location couldn’t be better. We are definitely staying there again!

It's a beautiful property, and the breakfast is great! Very convenient location for walking downtown, although there are some party houses nearby which can occasionally be loud, but I never had trouble sleeping. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be looking to stay here the next time I visit.

I absolutely loved my stay at Showers inn! It was a very convenient location as i was visiting my daughter for mom's weekend...close to shops, bars, restaurants and most importantly to her! I loved my room with an outdoor balcony, a gas fireplace that i used all weekend and tons of space. The furnishings were comfortable and stylish and not overly precious as they can be in certain B&B's. The breakfast was delicious! I only wish I had discovered this place earlier!

This was our second time at Showers Inn and it does not disappoint! Beautiful room and the breakfast was amazing. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a romantic weekend getaway or staying in Bloomington for any reason!

We stayed in the main building. Common spaces were wonderful and original to the historic house. Very comfortable and nicely appointed throughout.
Dining spaces for breakfast were very nice. Had the option of sitting at a private or communal table. Very nice service. Several great options available for order off of the menu.
Staff is very attentive and friendly.
Beautiful landscaped grounds. Quiet and peaceful. Parking very near by. Downtown Bloomington and IU campus very accessible on foot or by car.
Room was very comfortable and well appointed.
