Beautiful hotel set in a stunning location on the beach. Check in and check out were both very easy - all staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and a good size (we had the standard front sea view) - a very big bed and a sofa bed for our daughter.
Swimming pool was cleaned daily and was perfect.
Restaurant - breakfast, lunch and dinner were all superb with a lovely view. Reasonably priced for the quality of food, drink and service received.
Quiet and peaceful especially in the evenings - was nice to sit on the balcony and stargaze and look/listen to the bats.
Staff gave us information on where to go and booked excursions - all very helpful.
Great location, short walk to strip of restaurants and bars.
Would totally recommend and plan on visiting again.
If we had to find any negative from our stay, it would be that there was no coffee machine in the room (but again that’s only if I had to give a negative as absolutely loved our stay).

Lovely and peaceful hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We were delayed getting into Chania but there was someone waiting for us at gone 2am. Very lovely hotel and the excursions booked through the hotel were also brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice, peaceful stay. Basic hotel, but everything worked smoothly. Go for the beachfront room - beautifull View to the sea! Breakfast by the sea was nice, allthough no toasts available. Kissamos restaurants are under one kilometer away.

Lovely hotel - room was very comfortable, staff very pleasant. Much more upscale than your usual Greek hotel and a good price. Free welcome drink on arrival - however they wouldn’t allow a G and T which was a shame! Spacious balcony and nice sea view. Would highly recommend :-)

We had double booked our nights, sunny bay welcomed to modify our stay and allow us to stay another night. Had a great meal for dinner, on-site restaurant was very good and the breakfast is great as well. Weather was very windy during our stay so the beach was less than desirable.

Visited a week with a friend. This hotel and its staff is AMAZING! They are so kind and always striving to make your vacation go smoothly. We had half board, which included breakfast & dinners each night, as we really just needed to relax all week, and the dinners were so good! Fresh incredients, great taste and good menu to choose from. I hope this hotel keeps succeeding, as they deserve it to the fullest.

Good quiet location right on the beach and a short walk away from all the restaurants in Kissamos.
Breakfast and dinner, not too many options but all delicious.
Excellent staff friendly staff
The only negative is that our room was a little dated/basic and it can do with a renovation, at least to update the bed. The walls are also not that well soundproofed, so your stay might depend on your neighbours.

The room was very spacious and pristine, the hotel itself/amenities and Family owners & Staff were very helpful and excellent across the board!

The property is close to the town square and near nice restaurants. The beach is at the back of the hotel and also close to many more beautiful beaches.

Great family-run hotel. Quiet area, located about a 10-minute walk from the coastal restaurants and centre of Kissamos.
Hotel food very good quality, particularly enjoyed our breakfasts looking out over the sea every morning.
Everything you could need in a little hotel: good location to get to Balos, Elafonisi and Falasarna by car or organized excursion, beautiful pool, balcony, comfortable large room with AC, private beach with umbrellas and sunbeds, mini mart with essentials including water and suncream! Lots of space to leave the hire car too.
Staff very warm and made us feel at home.

the desk clerk gave excellent service, but the rest of the stuff not as good. The hotel seemed under stuffed, the hotel is a little old and not well maintained.

Nice quite hotel. A little old but it’s very normal for this small town. Private beach. Not loud. Very friendly staff. They explained everything me around the place. It’s about 10
Minutes to walk to the promenade where you can find restaurants to have dinner. Breakfast is a little poor.

Nice and clean hotel in the beach (which is pretty rocky like in many places in Crete). Quite big rooms, clean and big pool (also one for children) and good breakfast. Nothing to blow your mind, but good price-quality-ratio overall. We could easily come back.
There was an athletics field (running tracks) with free entry next to the hotel, if you want to do some exercising there. We also found a big supermarket from the village of Kissamos and tasty restaurants, too.

We had a great stay at Sunny Bay! The view from our room was spectacular as we could see the entire Kissamos bay. Beach access was easy and the pool was clean and refreshing. We loved the breakfast provided and they did an excellent job of serving the food taking cleanliness standards into account during COVID-19. We ordered food and drinks from the bar using our phones and it came out timely and was very delicious. Highly recommend.

The view of the sea from this is so fantastic. I stayed here with my family, clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and always smiled. Ideally located for access to Elafonisi beach and Falasarna beach.☆☆☆☆☆

This hotel is great. The staff are very friendly, everything was clean, breakfast was good! The kids enjoyed the pool. The hotel is close to beaches, restaurants, tavernas, and markets. Will recommend!

We have just returned from a week’s stay in Kissamos at the Sunny Bay Hotel. We received a very pleasant welcome from the owners, even though we arrived late into the evening. Nothing was too much trouble, helping out with travel adaptors we had forgotten and even a lost passport (thankfully quickly found). The location is perfect for a peaceful break with the beach and shoreline immediately on the doorstep. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and courteous and the room clean and well spec’ed. Only thing missing was a kettle of coffee making but it’s minor point. Thank you to all at Sunny Bay for making our holiday a delight.

It is a lovely hotel on very quiet Kissamos area with a great food and fantastic host:) All people working there were very nice and friendly, room was clean and tidy with a flat tv and a small fridge. We loved it. If we come back Kissamos we'll go to the Sunny Bay again.
