It is a unique, beautiful, safe and well maintained property. So close to the plaza we parked the truck for the weekend. Perfect for exploring the KC Plaza area!

The smell when you walk in the lobby is very welcoming and the decor is so chic. We rented the cabana and it was everything! Staff friendly and nice. Can’t wait to do another staycation.

It was supposed to be a relaxing weekend gataway but it was far from relaxing. When booking the hotel, we requested a room with a bathtub. When we arrived they said they were all booked. We went to our room down a hallway filled with marijuana smoke. Then our next door neighbor has several dogs locked in the room that were barking non-stop. I asked the front desk to switch rooms- they said they are busy but will switch us the next day after check-out. After hearing dogs bark all evening and morning, I went to the desk to see if they can switch our room. They said they will have a few rooms available afternoon and they will give us a call. Nobody did, and the front desk staff did nothing to accommodate us. Also, the plan was to lounge by the pool but when we got up there- the water was murky and the glass looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a decade, so we just left. This property is NOT as good as advertised. Very ghetto and disappointing experience.

We only stayed one night but if I am ever back in the area I will definitely stay here again! The staff was awesome! Sure friendly and helpful. The complementary contain needs to be on the menu. Absolutely delicious! Very clean and great location. The pool area was great! Didn’t eat at the restaurant but look good. We did order room service for some crème brule and it was yummy and they were very fast getting to us!

The Fontaine is INCREDIBLE and a MUST stay whenever I am in Kansas City! The staff are SO gracious, friendly and WONDERFUL and the rooftop bar is spectacular!

The bed sheets are very poor. No room service for coffee was available. I went to the restaurant and asked why. The woman said it was because her co-worker did not show up for work. These kinds of things should not happen at an expensive hotel.

Great front desk , kind people helping, understaffed in bar/ pool area. Felt like many people at pool that weren’t hotel guests. Asked for check, they only gave me total number. overall good stay. Friendly atmosphere.

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed for three days with our kids. They are 5 and 8 years old. The fact that it says it's kid-friendly but it's not disappointed me. Our kids got looks from guests when they were swimming. This is more for adults. We saw two drunk girls kissing in the bogaows you can rent at the pool. I wouldn't say it's kid-friendly. To help other guests, maybe it should just be advised that way.

Location is good. Rooms are big. Shower is fantastic and the products too. Blackout curtains very good.
However for the number of stars the hotel have it’s a bit of a disappointment. Pillows were lumpy, other guests were rowdy at 2am 2 nights, feels like a party hotel. No stairs to reach your floor, you could only exit. Elevator often busy due to bar and resturant being on the top floor. AC not quiet. Doors slams when closing.

Beautiful lobby, entrance, pool, bar and dining area. Hallways did not smell good. People were having a party could smell smoke in the hallway. Shower had hair in it. Walls dirty. Subpar cleaning of carpet. PILLOW CASE HAD STAIN ON IT. Staff was excellent and friendly especially pool staff.

The staff are great and the valet attendant is just a great guy and was beyond welcoming and friendly.

Didn’t realize it was two double beds. Not sure why this is even an option. Four people cannot sleep comfortably in this room. The room was tiny. Additionally, the pool might as well be adult only. There is no room for children to swim comfortably without “splashing” adults. They had to stand without moving, which was unfortunate because this is why we booked the hotel to begin with.
