We found everyone at Station Hotel extremely friendly and helpful. I would like to mention Cameron and Ahmed on Reception, who were so helpful and efficient. Also, June in the restaurant, who went out of her way to do everything to help me. I have a broken hip and am using crutches at the moment. The only drawback was that the lift was under repair. However, we were informed before booking our particular room. Finally, I would have like to have a few more places to place toilet bags, make up bags etc in the bathroom. Also, a small shelf in the shower for soap would be handy as some people prefer soap to shower gel. All in all, we were very satisfied and will definitely return. Thank you.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was very tired. It didnt look like the photo I booked from. It was far too hot with no radiators on. Had to keep the windows open and made it so noisy. Bed uncomfortable, flooring not clean, socket next to bed doesn’t work and not fixed to wall properly. No plug in bathroom sink. Neighbouring windows can easily see in velux windows with no blinds.

Very good hotel for cheep getaway or just crashing in Aberdeen hotel staff friendly easy parking round side of hotel. Bathroom outdated but comfortable beds so can really complain!

It was adequate for what we expected the food however was not to my taste. They were kind enough to get me something else free of charge when i could not eat my steak because it was not prepared the way i wanted it. The lift to my room was broken so we had to go round the other rooms to get to our room. However overall it was not a bad experience the staff were willing to listen and profer solutions to questions. The room was clean and value for money, the wifi worked well and there was also parking for a charge but at least the car was safe. There was alot of signs showing you where you were going so it was easy to find your wat around, they are also eco-friendly, given customers just Enough towels to avoid wastage, the room was also well-light, the extra touch was when i found earplugs in the cupboard because the hotel is situated in the heart of the town, this was well thought of to allow for a good night sleep if it became noisy. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. It also had a big bath tub as opposed to a small one. The restaurant catered well and were willing to listen to critism and listen to individual opinions. The checkin and check out times were adequate and speedy. They were willing to help with luggage and apologised quite quickly to us as soon as we checked in to let us know that the lift was broken. I would however recommend the hotel as i think it has one of the best high tea experience with assorted snacks and its affordable as well as tasty

Very helpful staff, fab breakfast and great value for money.

The staff were fab. Service at reception and breakfast was just perfect. The room was a little tired. The shower had to be held as it would not stay on the wall bracket. The bed was small and very hard for my taste.

When you walk in the place looks amazing! What you'd expect from an old station hotel. However when you start heading to the rooms and upstairs it immediately loses that appeal. Very tired... Carpets need renewed and the decor is dull.

Stayed for a couple of nights over the weekend. Very comfortable bed. Lovely well stocked buffet breakfast with the hot food always replaced promptly when empty.

Lift was broken so lots of stairs but i slept well and that's all that matters

I had booked a double room and on check in was given a twin, this was changed after reporting this to reception staff. Old fashioned definitely needs doing up, tap in bathroom making a banging noise all night, bathroom was horrible enamel chipped in the bath and black mildew all round the bath. No toilet roll holder in bathroom or storage space to put toiletries. Chair in room all torn. Disorganised staff at breakfast no cups and when asked for cups only brought a few rather than stalking up for all guests. Having to wait for food as ran out.

Good location, breakfast was nice. The hotel has squeeky floors throughout the hole hotel, showers and toilet not working, so had to get a new room. Elevator not working. Bar had luke warm beer .

Hotel is handy and central …..

Aberdeen is expensive to visit and grey. Traffic very difficult with poor condition of roads and esp road markings. Felt like a city of people under pressure.

Poor experience. Shower didn't work the four days I was there, despite asking for it to be repaired. Lift didn't work the entire time.

The noise in the hotel is dreadful all night long - did tell reception on check out and they said they do get that feedback a lot.

A nice hotel, friendly and efficient staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Ideal for the train station and the town centre. Some updating is required. The building has plenty of character.

Loved it, had a real up market luxury feel. Centrally located close to some great bars. We thought it was great value for money.

Large room with ability to open window and get fresh air. Parking was very convenient. Greeting at desk was friendly and very efficient at getting us to our room. Ate dinner and breakfast at hotel and both were good

On a 4 night stay, the first room we were in was on the main road and very noisy as the traffic never stopped. So when we mentioned at the desk the next morning we were moved to another room which was so much quieter. The staff were extremely helpfull and nothing was bother.

It’s a very nice hotel. Rooms are modern but it was noisy from the cars outside. Otherwise great location and nice hotel.

Had a fab time only complaint was the lift was out of order near our room had to use the other lift whitch was at the other side of hotel got lost a couple of times

Far better than i expected, could not fault it apart from the parking charge of 10 pounds for a motorbike. Staff pleasant and helpful, place was spotless and plenty of pubs etc in the area, i will use as my place to stay when in aberdeen

Great property in a great location

Large room sparsely furnished, no headboard on bed, tv hung at odd angle for viewing from bed. Awakened multiple times by boy racers and noisy yobs. Lift out of order so a struggle upstairs with luggage and no offer of help. Picked for location close to train station due to travel connection but wasn't cheapest hotel and certainly not a restful night. This hotel badly needs upgrading with sound proofing and decor. Is definitely on my won't return list.

Comfortable bed. Disappointed no plug for bath. Breakfast chaotic. Just about everything ran out. Didn’t know there was fresh fruit until was leaving dining area. Insufficicient staff at breakfast.

This hotel is a grand 'Old lady'. Constantly undergoing some.manner of refurb in certain areas. Public areas all super inc. Restaurant and bar. Staff all lovely. Always willing to go that 'extra mile' for customers. Fantastic value 'High Tea". Overall everything fab value for monies paid.
