The fragrance in this hotel was EVERYTHING!!! I need to know what it was. The only thing to possibly change is the heavy barn door for the restroom - my mom who is disabled couldn’t even close it completely when using.

People that may have been overserved will be loud around 2:30-3:00am getting back to their rooms. I guess maybe the walls are thin, maybe we were just unlucky. Will probably choose a hotel not attached to the casino on our next visit.

Usual HRC restaurant not open and limited options in the restaurant that was open. Nothing free, even drinks when gambling came with a high price tag.

Easy check in- clean, modern rooms

All was great, the check in was quick and easy, the service was friendly, and professional. The bathroom had dirty walls and baseboards that were not cleaned, otherwise everything was clean, and smelled great.

Was perfect..... Except no light bulbs in 2 of the lamps

Needed a quick stay in Sioux City and have had good luck with the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Miami. Obviously Sioux City, Iowa isn’t on the same scale as Miami, but it was a very nice hotel and seemed quite clean as well. Checking was very fast and the front desk staff were super friendly and very helpful! Complimentary drinks upon check in were a welcome surprise. The standard twin queen room itself was very spacious, with a large bathroom and plenty of space in the bedroom area. Room was mostly clean other than some dust here and there. There was a pair of women’s dress slacks crumpled in the chair, so not sure how that was missed when the room was cleaned. Not a big deal. Just took them to front desk. The only downside to the room was the smell. Perhaps we were above the casino, but the room smelled like bowling alley or casino all the time. A faint but persistent smell of cigarette smoke. In fact the entire property smelled like cigarettes. We are at the main restaurant,Main + Abbey, and the food was wonderful. Drinks were great etc. Again though, just off the casino floor, the cigarette smell was pretty strong. I guess it only seemed strange because I’ve been to several hotel/casino combos and many of them you would never know they even allow smoking. Perhaps the ventilation system wasn’t working properly or something. All in all, not sure I would stay here again, given the other great hotels in the area.
