Not good. Felt like a cruise ship.

We loved our stay. I brought my husband for his 55th birthday. This resort is a cute little secluded resort with a private beach, and two pools. It was not over crowded or filled with kids. The hilltop infinify pool has a swim up bar and both pools have lots of activities (bingo, DJ...etc). The resort is very well maintained and the staff are all great. There is only 1 restaurant so you'll have to go into town for other meal options, groceries, snacks, etc, but they even have certain days/times that they will take you or you can just grab a cab. They do have a little market on site as well. The best thing about the whole trip is, even though they offer the time share presentation, they did not pressure us to sign up or even ask us to attend.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Margaritaville in St Thomas. Our first night there we had to stay in a smoky room even though we requested a non smoking room. We were moved for the rest of our stay but to a room without a working phone. This was important because you have to call for a golf cart to pick you up or walk down flights of stairs to get down to lobby/pool/beach area. We asked for it to be fixed twice but no one ever came. We waited for golf carts too often and the staff was not overly friendly. We also left a jacket in our first room that they moved us from and it was never turned in to lost and found so we didn’t get it back. Beach on this property is horrible and so is food at Margaritaville. You will have to pay for a taxi to get almost anywhere on the island as not much is within walking distance. We did have a good time in St Thomas but would not stay here again.

The resort was not updated. Our room was dirty as well as the curtains. There were cats and chickens over running the place. An iguana pooped on the concrete near the poor and no one cleaned it up. Poor customer service. I will never go back

Please do not stay here. None of the staff should be employed. I have never in my entire life, of all the different trips I’ve been on, encountered such rude staff. Their attitudes are literally disgusting. There were multiple incidents that I almost can’t even put into words. There was a ROACH in our room, on our bed. Also a spider. Yes we are on an island. Fine. We chased the roach around and killed it. When I called the front desk to ask them for new bed sheets, considering the roach was all over my pillow and sheets, they did not care and did not send anyone to come with sheets. At the very least, new sheets could have been sent to the room. The restaurant. I have no words. They do not come to clean the rooms or replace towels, toilet paper, etc. No big deal. I’ll just wipe with Kleenex. The front desk closes and they leave you to feen for yourself. The carts stop at like 11pm or earlier and you have to hike up to your room, lost and confused. They close the pool earlier than they are supposed to. Security curses you out. A staff member at the pool screamed and called another member of our group “annoying” because she asked if there were any towels. Nothing makes sense at this resort. It is the twilight zone. There is no other way to put it. I am actually mortified at my experience here with the staff and service. There was actually no service. We couldn’t even get water bottles.
