The property needs more heat water pressure

The pros: Good location, good breakfast, has parking in a busy area. The cons: carpet in room looked old and dirty. Storm windows are not common in Peru, so you can hear the busy street below which could be a problem for a light sleeper (luckily I am not one). The administration and reception are the main problem from my experience. We needed a crib, and I emailed the hotel at least 2 months before my visit and they said it will be there for us when we arrive. Then a week prior to our stay, they asked me for a new CC - it was just for me to provide the updated exp. date- as I provided the information, I reminded the administration about the need of a crib. When we arrived at 1am, and asked about the crib the front desk guy told me that there was none ready. I ask to get one per my request. The guy said that there was none. To what I asked to call the admin or whoever can fix the issue. I had to put a lot of pressure to get a crib installed finally at 2:15 am in the morning - if I hadn't they were expecting to have a very active 15 mo sleep in a futon. I only received a simple apology, but overall I feel that the staff was not very helpful and had complete lack of understanding of what costumer service is.

The best part was getting a large suite for a pretty reasonable price. Food in the hotel was good, and San Isidro is one of the best parts of Lima. Plenty of very good restaurants nearby.My only complaint is the wifi, which was poor. The standard connection was not good enough to download apps from iTunes. They did end up giving me a password for an alternative wifi connection via which I was able to download apps. However it would be nice if that were the standard wifi connection.

The experience in the hotel was good but they try to clean the rooms early in the morning and thats an inconvenience. Also, the food in the hotel restaurant is not the best.

Absolutely a gem in San Isidro. Comfortable. Charming. WIth a rooftop swimming pool. What else could one want?

Everything was excellent, except that someone opened our bottle of water (it was new ) and also opened one bag of candies that were in our room. This gave a sense of insecurity. The staff were very helpful and attentive to any needs we may have. Food was very good and service outstanding. Our special thanks to Jorge y Giovanni. I have to mention Vivian Chamorro who went the extra mile make our stay very pleasant. I recommend this hotel. Well definitely come back. Luis from Long Beach, California.

The hotel's AC was out of order at the time of my stay. From speaking with a guest that stayed at Los Tallanes a week earlier, This has been a standing problem for sometine now. I was not made aware of this issue prior to booking or at the time of registration at the hotel. With summer night temperatures still hovering above 20 celcius, sleeping in the room was extremely uncomfortable. The fan provided by the hotel was of little help. I travel frequently to Lima and certainly will not be staying there in the future.
