Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful

It was perfect : clean, quiet, easy parking on the street or at a nearby parking lot, good location when you travel by car from the North, very close to subway and bus

Staff was excellent

My stay was everything I needed it to be. I was back in NYC for my brother’s funeral and my stay was as peaceful as possible. The room was a decent size, nice and clean, I loved the heater in the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. I wish I had requested a fridge in advance but the store downstairs was convenient for cold drinks. I was checked in by Stephen and was able to get into my room early which was greatly appreciated as I had been up and flew in early that morning and really needed to shower and rest before going to finalize the funeral and repass arrangements. The staff were great, I believe I spoke with Dominic each day and he was nice and professional. There was also a nice older woman at the front but I did not get her name. House keeping was great, I never saw them but they were definitely there. My room was always refreshed each day after I left the room. I will definitely be staying at Edge NYC again when I come to NY. Oh a big plus is there is a 24 hr deli across the street. The train station, BBQs, and Starbucks are two blocks up. Such a great location. An overall great experience.

The room is small, but very clean

Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The price is a little high given that there are no services within the property. Anything you need is within walking distance. The price reflects that need for the more hotels and the area it serves.

The conveniency is in the location. Bed matters is not firmly attached to the frame so it shifts and makes loud noise. The cleaning service personnel do not pay attention excessive noise they make in the hall especially in the morning. She woke me up at 8:45am to ask me if it’s my last day of stay. Not sure why the hotel is not sharing with her about guest details although checkout is at Noon anyways.

Luis was extremely helpful and caring. The whole staff we encountered was very professional and courteous. It’s an excellent place to stay either if you visit the city for health reasons or tourism. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Really good for the price.

There were stains left on the blankets of both beds. The area was a bit sketchy, would not feel safe outside alone. Beware that you must have the booking correctly state the specific amount of people staying. Anymore than the booked amount will include a $50 fee for each. There is also a $100 secure deposit fee that you will need to pay when you check in so plan accordingly (you will receive the payment back after checkout).

Location is nice and clean. Staff are very welcoming and nice.

This place was conveniently located, closed to public transportation and lots of Dominican food options, which is exactly what I wanted! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I do wish the rooms were a little bigger.

Great hotel in Washington Heights. Close to subway, meticulously clean, and quiet. Very comfortable rooms. Interesting neighborhood with a closely placed fruit and vegetable stand. Would definitely stay there again!

I liked everything about this cute hotel, it was clean quiet and comfortable. Small but expected in NY, would stay again!!!

The room was very compact - but quite adequate for one person. The amenities were good. However on the second night: 1. My neighbor was very loud, but s/he quieted down mostly after management asked. 2. The shower was great, but the slope of the threshold meant that the water hitting the glass door flowed under the door away from the shower creating a minor flood around the vanity sink. I mopped it up with a towel.

The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone needing to go to Columbia Medical Center. And the people who work here couldn’t be kinder or friendlier. The rooms are small but comfortable and there is a nice health club.

It was a very pleasant stay, it was clean and very comfortable for me and my 2 grown kids. The staff was amazing very friendly and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping, I would definitely stay there again.

Best hotel in the immediate vicinity. No frills. Very small rooms, but clean. Only street and third party garage parking. Okay to stay for a day or two. Front desk was polite and accommodating.

I love the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. I hated that my room was little as hell. But its was still beautifully placed together ❤

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. As a female traveling alone, I never felt unsafe. It was also convenient to the subway for a straight shot down to Manhattan. Unfortunately, the room was very small and would have been uncomfortable if I had been traveling with a second person.

Best hotel experience ever! Since booking to check out I had a great experience! Initially when I booked I had a question about early check in so I sent an email and had a response in 30 minutes! Upon arrival Dominic greeted us and had the best customer service experience! He provided us with a list of nearby restaurants and answered all our questions! The room was perfect, great city view and just 2 minutes away from the subway station! Definitely coming back!
