This location is truly remarkable. It is a concealed treasure within the desert region. For those seeking a tranquil retreat and a peaceful experience, this is the ideal destination. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Corvin for providing us with a tour of the property, and to Misty for taking the time to share the history and notable features of the estate. This venue possesses a unique charm, and the staff effortlessly creates an atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. Be sure to mark your starting point on the large map and take the opportunity to feed the hummingbirds.

I was so happy with everything about The Desert Riviera. I was trying to think of something I would suggest to improve but I have to say…everything was perfect, comfortable, friendly, clean, special. I can’t say enough. We will be back!

A golden oldie in typical Palm Springs style.
We received a nice upgrade to a much larger room, n*9. Unfortunately the back of the room is on Palm Canyon Rd. A very busy road connecting Palm Springs to the next villages like Cathedral city and Rancho Mirage. Apart from that noise, the airco is pretty old and noisy too. We liked the staff's kindness very much. The hummingbirds will drink out of your hand! This hotel has a lot of charm, but fair is fair, a 10 out of 10 we can't support.

Cute little hotel, with awesome staff. They where checking on us to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The heated pool and jacuzzi where the highlight of our trip since we went during the winter and we were still able to take a dip in the pool at night.
Loved the hotel, would definitely go back.

Very helpful manager and staff. Unique boutique place with 11 rooms around a pool. Fire pits and quiet location close to Indian Canyons .. great for challenging hikes. No kids so pool is quiet. Enjoyed feeding the humming birds that feed from your hand.

Funky design elements and very authentic early 60’s design all adds to a terrific Palm Springs experience. Great (& warm) pool along with fire pits completes the scene. The rooms are in great & original condition. Staff are ultra friendly & helpful.

We loved the pool area and the coziness of the hotel. The manager who checked us in was very friendly and gave us great dinner suggestions. She also had a very detailed knowledge of the Joshua Tree National Park.

Unique property with nostalgic rooms with everything you need. I was concerned with pool open all hours and right outside my door but it was quiet and no trouble sleeping. I was a little unsettled with the blinds and no curtain to close view into room completely. I would stay here again if in this area.

We just stayed at the Desert Riviera and loved it. The rooms were very clean, the pool was chill and quiet, and the entire staff was kind and friendly. The attention to detail was clear in the little things that enhanced our experience-pool floats available, the fire pit in the courtyard, the popcorn and pizza oven. This was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had and we cannot recommend it enough.

This was a truly incredible stay. The caretaker of the property Ashley was a true professional and went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. I personally work in the Hospitality/Resort industry and have extremely high standards. These standards were exceeded. The resort is gorgeous and in a prime location. I highly recommend you and your loved one take a break from the craziness of the world and escape to the Desert Riviera for some R&R. We will be back!

The friendly hospitable staff along with stocked refrigerator, bicycles available, heated pool and spa, barbecue, pizza oven, and other amenities make the stay feel like your at a close friend's or a small friendly all inclusive. Misty the manager was great. Only bad thing was bed squeaking too much. I will definitely be recommending Desert Riviera to family and friends.

Fun renovated 50’s hotel with only 11 rooms. All of the amenities that you could want around the pool, barbecue, smoker, pizza oven, popcorn maker, you never have to leave.

Upon checking in at he Desert Riviera, we were greeted by Ashley who was very friendly and courteous. Our room was immaculate and the decor was fun and bright! The hotel's grounds were absolutely stunning and beautiful. Sitting by the pool into the evening was relaxing thanks to the chill atmosphere of the place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Palm Springs and I myself will definitely be coming back.!
