Casamar Suites perfectly captures the chilled vibe of Puerto Escondido! From the moment I arrived, I was met with the warmest of smiles from Indra. I hadn't eaten all day and arrived late in the afternoon. I was a bit too exhausted to try and look for food, and Indra came to the rescue by finding a local restaurant that delivered. All of the concierge staff were above and beyond responsive and helpful. Checking on me daily and offering to get anything I needed. I had the Coco room and it was magical! Having a private terrace, a clean and comfortable hammock, and an amazing view of the beach was good for the soul. The room is perfect for a weeks' stay and the only setback is you may never want to leave Casamar or your terrace! The owners (Don Wil & Ted) and the manager (Luis) go out of their way to meet all of the guests. On Tuesdays they host a meet and greet dinner o bring all of the guests together. I did not want for anything, and will definitely return, and highly recommend! The kitchen "moms" made excellent breakfasts and lunches, it was nice to wake up to free café and have a filling breakfast to start the day. The pool is not heavily chlorinated which was a huge plus! AND, they offer FREE yoga every morning as well as water aerobics in the afternoon. Rosario was a great teacher, and also gave me the most relaxing, full body massage that had me floating out the door. There are tons of places to stay in PE, but if you are looking for a low-key magical week -

The place is nice, clean and the owner and staff are very friendly. Location is awesome. On tuesday night there is a welcome dinner, it is an amazing experience, and food is yummy.
The swimming pool is very clean and big. it is open from 7 am, til 10 pm.
There are plenty restaurants nearby the hotel, but to be honest, is pretty expensive. Prices are thinking for foregneirs.
The only bad thing was that there is no food in the hotel from 5 pm. and in sunday, there is any food because the restaurant is close.

This is our 2nd year in a row coming here. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. Our room (Hibsicus) was perfect as it had AC, ceiling fans and standing fan. Small kitchen with a bar island. It has a refrigerator, oven, toaster, blender, pots, pans and utensils. We had a nice outside patio with a table. The pool was steps from our room and is opened until 10pm and is well lit at night. They have a free meet and greet with a delicious meal and we met the owner Will. You can see the beach from the hotel. Its just a short walk to the beach or go the opposite way to the strip. The staff was helpful and friendly. We look forward to staying here again.

Was disappointed no hot water for showers. No complimentary coffee in the mornings and if you do get it it will cost you more than on the strip. No t.v.

Lovely hotel and we loved our icean view room with huge private terrace and separate livig room (Cocos). The only negative was the bed was a bit hard. On Tues, the resort puts on a free dinner forguests with entertainment. This time we had an Indigenous singer - she was amazing. In Thurs there was a movie night. The hotel also offers free daily yoga and free pool aerobics. The grounds are gorgeous and it is in a very convenient location to great restaurants and shops. The hotel restaurant will make you anything you want. They also have weight loss programs and weekly chapel. The owners are American and love to interact with guests and tell stories. A family atmosphere vibe.

We've been to PE before and when we decided to come back we found Casamar online and decided to give it a try.
We were not disappointed. So much so that we've booked again for next year.
The property is a real gem, self-contained and immaculately kept. Most units have kitchens and outdoor spaces.
There is an on-site restaurant, a spa, yoga and aquafit as well as 24hr staff.
PE is a great town with lot to do and see, but Puerta Zicatela is even better. Don't miss the whale/dolphin trips.

The team here has it dialed in. Excellent facility, thoughtfully appointed, an oasis as La Punta grows and changes. They had beach umbellas and towels for complimentary checkout, as well as an awesome am yoga class daily (ours was taught by Andy). Would stay again.

Beautiful landscape and artwork , I loved the pool and our suite was very charming. Hugely helpful was the 5 gallon water jug in the room. The staff was wonderful and arranged massages for us and a taxi to the airport. The restaurant was great as well! I would happily stay there again!

We travelled to casamar with our 2 year old and it was the best place we could’ve stayed. So family friendly. The grounds are like a beautiful little oasis with very well maintained greenery, beautiful flowers and birds and butterflies… They offer free yoga classes for guests everyday at 9am and this was honestly the highlight for me. There’s wonderful complementary coffee every morning. The manager, Louis and concierge, Christine are so kind and accommodating… the food at the restaurant was delicious and they do a complementary dinner every night for the guests every Tuesday evening. It’s wonderful. I loved this place so much. We’ll definitely be back.
I will say the beds were all very firm, we switched rooms a couple times because of that and found the king size bed in the niños suite to be the softest so that’s where we ended up. We had to pay a little bit more for that suite because of the size but it was necessary… and the pool is so nice but they use a copper ionization system so it’s a bit slippery. We slipped a couple times on the way in. Watch your step. :)

Wonderful place to stay. AMAZING Yoga classes at 9am every morning made this stay even better than I could’ve imagined. Very family friendly. Beautiful scenery, amazing staff, the food at the restaurant is DELICIOUS. Nice pool, very traditional Mexican decor. The beds were a little firm but we like softer beds. Very basic is done everyday (garbage’s replaced at minimum). We switched rooms twice and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. Communal dinner on Tuesday nights for all the guests is a great bonus. Loved our stay here. Would definitely return.

We fully enjoyed our experience at Casamar. Staff was polite, attentive, and the area was safe. Mar and Elisa and Luis were great, the morning yoga was a plus, and tours and transportation were always available to us. We highly recommend a stay there! :)

They did not clean the washroom just change towels and took the garbage out, also they charge us more than 100 dollars for stay up to 3 pm during a very humid and hot day because our fly was at 5.30 and also they charge us for two botles of water
