Beautiful place it is more Thant the cost

This is a beautiful, modern hotel ideally located in the heart of the historic center. The room was large with a small, surprise courtyard off the bathroom.

Everything was just awesome

Lovely hotel with a nice atmosphere. The sheets and pillows were nice looking but very rough. Also,we had no hot water for our shower in the evening. And it would have been really nice to have coffee and a small fridge in the room.

nice different a bit to minimalistic

This was our 2nd trip back to Hotel Criol. Hotel is beautiful, rooms are very nice. The staff has always been wonderful and helpful. Within just a 3 min walk from Historic Centro, shops and restaurants. The hotel has a very good restaurant as well for breakfast/Coffee.

The area is perfect to walk around. Amazing food, shopping, people.

Lovely spaces, convenient, nice staff, nice rooms but realize many rooms in Mexico do not have windows to the outside. Ours here didn’t.

Staff was very attentive

This hotel is lovely and very convenient as it’s located in the center of the city. The room was quite small but had everything we needed (especially AC) for our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming for a short stay.

The room we initially booked was very small so we upgraded to a bigger room for a small fee. Nahum was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located within the centro histórico. We felt very safe walking to and from the hotel at night. We parked on the street when available. Highly recommend.

Architecturally a beautiful building within walking distance from the historic plaza. Staff was attentive and check-in was quick and easy. The only two issues I had 1) I paid for a jacuzzi suite and it was non-functional 2) (and this is a personal preference) the bed was hard and uncomfortable, didn't get a great night sleep the two nights I stayed. Apart from those two things I really enjoyed my stay and found it super safe (as a woman traveling alone) and it was easy to find street parking after 8pm.

Wonderful area! Amazing staff and a beautiful facility. Rooms are on the smaller side as it is in the downtown area (everything is small). Hot water, luxury rooms, great air conditioning, bottled water. Literally everything you could ask for.

Beautiful hotel

This is a fabulous hotel. One of the most beautifully appointment. It’s intimate in its spaces but with plenty of areas to relax in. The staff is extremely kind and great. I can’t wait to stay here again.

The staff was super helpful all the time. The hotel is nice and clean. The location perfect to walk to all kinds of restaurants and museums.

Very nice hotel in the heart of the historic district. Easy walking to the whoe area. Staff were very friendly and accommodating - they even put our dinner leftovers in the fridge for us! Very good brunch buffet too!

Beautiful relaxing boutique hotel in the heart of the historic area. We walked everywhere, enjoyed all the beautiful sights, great. cafes, and food. I would recommend for a chill stay.

Amazing location, and the facility is beautiful!

This a beautiful hotel with very sleek architecture. The staff is very friendly, and the service is excellent. However, I stayed in room 1, which I recommend avoiding at all costs. The room doors are glass, which does not block outside noises at all. These doors face directly to the courtyard, and my room was in front of the kitchen. Personal starts working at 6:00 am, which is nice, but if you are planning to sleep in or have a restful morning, it is pretty much impossible in this room (unless you wear earplugs). The first time I visited this hotel, I stayed in one of the rooms upstairs; the doors were wood and much quieter. In summary, it is a nice hotel, but do not stay on the ground floor (or avoid rooms 1 and 2) because it will be noisy.

An outstanding boutique hotel . I highly recommend this property and would certainly stay here again.

Property is okay just a bit too noisy as you can hear voices easily outside your door.
