We commented to the manager and employees as we left how this was the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed. It had fresh smelling hallways and rooms with comfortable beds. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind if we ever travel back to the Des Moines area.

Just ok. Decent if you get a low rate. Front desk staff we're not friendly or efficient. They wanted to charge $35 to check in an hour early. I'd stay elsewhere next time

Was nice hotels...check in team very nice. Room was very spacious but drawer had dirty clothes in it from previous ppl. Need more pillows for pull out bed sofa. And more towels for showers when more then 2 ppl stay in room. I was told breakfast started at 6 but there was hardly anything out by 6:30 am .

The location of the hotel was perfect for me. It’s close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. The area is very walkable to all of the shops or if you want to take a leisure walk or go for a run. The room was very clean and the front desk staff was very helpful. It’s about a 15 minute drive to the downtown area.

The hotel was easy to find with gps. The staff was nice. They had drinks and snacks and a bar. The free breakfast was awesome. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. There was a variety like sausage, eggs, donut holes, oatmeal, bagels, toast, three kinds of milk including oat milk, and the coffee was good. Parking was not bad and the entrance was wheelchair accessible. I slept on the pull out couch. There was a top sheet but no blanket. I asked the front desk for a blanket, and they gave me two more sheets. I felt uncomfortable about going back and asking for a blanket again. So, I covered myself with three sheets. Every time I moved, the sheets came apart. Less than perfect bedding.

I contracted bed bugs during the stay. There are multiple bites all over me. Despite the hotel staff moved me to a different room once they are made aware of the situation, there was no active communication on the status about the investigation by the pest control company and staff was not willing to provide an update when I called. I’m returning home not knowing what bit me…

My husband and I enjoyed the Hyatt during our 2 night stay. It had the basic amenities in room but nothing more. I disliked the bathroom door immensely. It is a heavy sliding barn door style with frosted glass. Middle of the night bathroom visits are loud (door bangs shut) and bright.
Everything was clean and in good shape but not upscale. Plasticized sectional is very nice for cleaning, I imagine, but not super comfy. It is spacious, though. Plenty of room for 4 people to relax and sectional pulls out for bed.
The breakfast, however, was very good! That I would give 5 stars.

Great property, secure, nice front bar. Battery dead on door lock. Got pushed from my scheduled room. Into a room directly from an out door kareoke bar. Super noisey. They dont close kareoke till 9:30pm. Could not sleep. Air conditioning dial does not control room temp.

Overall property was nice, but our room had large carpets stains and the vent panel was hanging from the wall. Also, the lock did not work when we arrived but syaff was very quick to repair to keep the room locked while we were away. Pool was warm and the kids had a great time. Breakfast was hot with good variety of fresh items!

The hotel itself was great. My wife said the coffee was awful. But really the only thing we really didn't care for was the dog some guest must have left alone in their room. When we returned to our room around 8pm, we could hear a dog barking. It barked for 2 hours straight. Who knows how long it had been barking before 8pm. Didn't pay >200/nt to listen to that. Fortunately, we didn't hear again after that night.

Nice clean modern property close to shopping & same parking lot as smashpark. Included breakfast was usual fair, rotating foods. Eggs/sausage/breads/coffee/juices/fruits. Gym on site small, does have a pool. Only bad experience room a/c didn't work, notified staff & they quickly changed us to different room

Gym does not smell good and doesn’t look like the equipments are deep cleaned daily, scales were broken and the main weight machine need servicing.
