My car broke down then my wife had to go to hospital with severe stomach pain. She has suspected appendicitis. We phoned the hotel who refused a refund or change if date even under exceptional circumstances! They said nothing they could do as booked through Hotels.com. Hoping Hotels.com can refund our £265 as hotel bring very unreasonable

The hotel is lovely and clean and room 6 was spacious with. Four poster bed and lovely big bath and seperate shower.
The breakfast was really good and the waitress was excellent. All in all an enjoyable stay and would hesitate on going back.

A lovely country house hotel in a quiet setting but close to good road links to the midlands . Staff were professional friendly and well trained , spacious bedroom was very comfortable and immaculate but a little out of date , food was excellent in pleasant surroundings, parking good . I'd definitely stay again when in the area

Hotel was amazing but my only negative comment and I know others thought the same. Breakfast finishing at 9.30am on a Sunday. When we asked why they said to get ready for Sunday Lunch. Solely because of this we won’t stay again

The room was beautiful, the staff were unbelievably helpful, the food was exquisite, and it's tucked away in stunning surroundings. Recommend this to couples, business travellers or anyone that likes luxury at a reasonable price.

Lovely tradition hotel with modern highlights. Beautiful gardens and view with large outdoor dining/drinking terrace. Fab interior design with lots of interesting touches. We had a large room with lounge area and large bathroom. Didn’t get the opportunity to eat there but Sunday lunch has been highly recommended. Would definitely stay again

Our room was spotlessly clean and also around the hotel. Ample sanitisers within the hotel and in the grounds.
Staff all very pleasant and doing their very best to protect everyone with the new rules regarding covid-19 and making sure your stay is a pleasant one.
Excellent dinner served in the dining room with good self distancing between tables. Food was amazing, presented and tasted beautiful.
The whole experience was just perfect yet again. We've stayed here several times and will definitely return!

Overal it was good - bed a bit small and not that comfortable - not many places to sit and work - no desk and chair in room - coffee was terrible (weak) breakfast was average - staff were mainly great with the exception of breakfast staff
