We recently stayed at Hotel Secreto for 3 nights. We had the best experience, the staff was outstanding and Maria in the spa gave me the best massage I ever had!

Nice view if you get a balcony. Great hotel if you want to relax.

I almost don’t want to leave a review, in hopes to keep this place as secret as it is, but they deserve all the praise. The staff are willing to go above and beyond to ensure your stay on the island is amazing. They really make you feel at home. The room was the most beautiful one we’ve ever stayed in. The hotel is never noisy, the drinks are well priced and delicious, and the pool/beach area is tucked away from the crowds with stunning views. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Do yourself a favor and stay here! The local spots to eat around town are all amazing.

Hotel Secreto is always a wonderful stay. The staff go above and beyond. Angel, Estefania, Cesar, Jose, Millie, and every person there will do whatever they can to make your stay memorable. The pool and pool deck are beautiful. The beach and beach beds are quiet and secluded, despite being steps away from the insanity of North Beach. The rooms are nicely appointed, with comfortable beds. The water pressure has never been an issue when we’ve been there (as it can be some places on Isla) and the air conditioning is ice cold. The rooftop bar is a wonderful place to watch the sunset.

Great property with amazing views, perfect access to the best shopping and beaches. Rooms were immaculate and the rooftop bar was a great added bonus.

This is a small, beautiful hotel. We love the non-hustle and bustle feeling about it. It was calming and relaxing. The staff was wonderful. The premise was wonderful everything is clean and nice. We can’t wait to stay next year again.

I loved this property rooms are clean small but very nice you can walk down to the beach and along the sand and rocks and get to Playa norte like 3 minute walk or you can go around through the hotel and the streets and get there too .. a lot of good taco stands near by

The rooms are fantastic and comfortable. The location is very close to the North Beach area while having a nice pool. The service was impeccable. The front door is hard to find the first time as there isn't really a sign. And we didn't have an ocean view room, but we really weren't in the room much anyway and it was perfect for everything we needed it to be.

Fantastic location away from the busier part of Isla Mujeres. Awesome and attentive staff. Rooftop bar is beautiful. Would recommend it for anyone staying on the island.

What a place! I stayed here with my wife and another couple and it was perfect. The room itself was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous the entire time. We highly recommend visiting the rooftop bar prior to going out for the evening. The views are insane.

Secreto is a nice little hotel with great access to Isla's 'downtown' and the beach. Friendly attentive staff. My negative is that the hotel is under renovation and we did not find out till after our arrival. That was a turn-off.

Nice little boutique hotel in Isla Mujeres. Staff was friendly and very helpful. It’s not all inclusive, but there are loads of food trucks right down the street.

We will never stay at another hotel on the island. I wish I could remember all of the names of the lovely staff, but Stephanie and Millie were so friendly and professional. We stayed in a room with an ocean view that exceeded our expectations. Our terrace had a large daybed with a table and chairs that we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails on. Our bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and the amenities that the hotel offers are extensive. Plus the location on a hidden quiet beach is outstanding, unlike the big hotels on Playa Norte with boats docked offshore blaring music. We swam in the pool everyday, and just relaxed. Security is another reason we loved the hotel. After hours you need an electronic room key to enter the front door, but there is an attendant inside confirming that you are a guest. We cannot say enough. This is our new home away from home. We visit the island at least twice a year.

Great hidden boutique hotel!! Beach isn’t swimmable but it’s got a great intimate pool that lets you connect with the other guests! Staff is very friendly and we loved our stay here!

We stayed at Hotel Secreto for 6 nights and really enjoyed it! The staff is very nice and helped with taxis and dinner reservations. Millie was amazing and so accommodating! The bartenders are great and friendly. The rooftop opens at 5pm and is an amazing place to have a drink and watch the sunset. It did rain a couple of afternoons and they did not open it on those evenings. There are no onsite restaurants at this property but we saw several guests ordering food for delivery. There are street food vendors a short walking distance away and Hidalgo St. is close by with multiple restaurants and many bars with nightly entertainment and live music. The pool is clean and has plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade with a nice view of the beach. They do set up a bar outside during the day starting in the early afternoon and in the evenings in the lobby. There is beach access and it’s very secluded but not a swimmable area. Playa Norte is just around the corner and you can walk over there and swim and snorkel. The best part was waking up to turtle tracks and getting up around midnight watching some come to the beach to lay eggs!!! The only downfall which is not the hotel’s fault, was late night noise and music being played by some people who apparently live behind the hotel and it went on about 3 nights until 1 or 2 in the morning. Next time I would spend the extra money and stay in a ocean view room as the standard rooms do not have patios.

Amazing spot. The most relaxing vacation I have ever had. Beautiful hotel close to everything and the staff, particularly Angel and Stephanie went above and beyond to make our stay phenomenal. The rooftop bar alone is reason to go, not to mention the spa.

Beautiful, relaxing. Close enough to the fine beaches and exciting vibe of downtown.

Property was good in general. Quiet and walkable distance to everything. However, Wi-Fi was not good anywhere except for the lobby. We wanted to work from our room and around the pool and it was not possible. Hopefully, they will fix this issue.

Hotel Secreto was absolutely breathtaking! From the service, to the property & the cleanliness of the hotel, I rate it 11/10! Will definitely come back to this hotel in the future. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable!
