The hotel is very nice! Very clean and pretty new! Mari Carmen is a lovely girl! She gave us all the information about Tulum and about the hotel! We loved our stayed over there!

Ac didn’t work bad experience

Besides the VIP issue. Isabel did everything to make up for it. Perhaps it was a miscommunication on Expedia side. Thank you Isabel.

It smelled like mold, but otherwise, it was clean. The rooftop pool was nice, and the atrium gardens were alive and well-maintained.

Nice staff, central location

Avoid at all costs!!! We did late check-in and our room wouldn't lock at all. The hotel refused to fix it right away, refused to switch our rooms or provide a refund. As 2 female travelers, we were super concerned for our safety since the lobby was not secure and there were alot of random men outside. Because it was late, and we had nowhere to go, we stayed the night with our luggage and furniture propped against the door. The room had a broken AC unit that was dripping water all over the floor, we had no towels, the bar was not operational upstairs, and the only breakfast served the next morning was toast and coffee. I had to fight to cancel our reservation and the staff was super rude about the whole situation. My advice is to take your money elsewhere - there are so many other better places.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's close to the center of downtown Tulum. The room is acceptable as a small hotel. The free breakfast is just toasts and coffee, but I liked it. The road in front of the hotel is unpaved and pooled with water.

Great hotel overall. Only stayed for a few days but enjoyed the amenities.

Service staff was awesome and the hotel was clean. Wish they keep the pool open after 8pm.

Convenient location near main road and restaurants. Very compact room with all facilities. Pool on the roof! Bed linen and towels could do with an upgrade but overall excellent value for money. Great breakfast.

I booked it for the general Location and it had a rooftop pool. The pool was so very dirty It was absolutely disgusting. Staff saw us up there so they skimmed the pool water to try to clean it. It was filthy throughout that took photos as it was so bad. The front desk staff was courteous. The breakfast staff was not very helpful and the first day they said they ran out of food even through we were up at 7:30 am. We saw others served a little later so we were very confused? The patio area in the room faced a cement wall. They were approximately 3’x6’ in size Hardly anyone was in the hotel, why didn’t they give us a patio room? We didn’t bother asking because we were just so disappointed. Staff kept parking bicycles right in front of our room area at the door in the hallway so we had to keep moving them and asking them not to do that as we would bump into them going in or out of our room. They kept parking them there. I felt like we were staying in the closet/storage area?

The pool was gross, water was green don’t think it was ever clean. It had a scum on it. Wifi was very weak. It says free breakfast first day they had nothing to cook us second day we got fruit and the third day we finally got eggs and toast and coffee hot water was hit and miss in shower. The only good thing was the beds we’re comfortable and ac worked. I would not recommend the Zendero

The place is near to everything

La propiedad es muy nueva pero estaba muy sucia la piscina estaba súper sucia, en el área cerca de la piscina habían vasos y copas por muchos días y nunca limpiaron, nuestro cuarto estaba sucio cuando lo entregaron dicen que es porque solo tienen una señora para limpiar todo el hotel.

Great breakfast. Clogged toilet, safe not working. Staff not available for repairments. Majority of staff friendly and attentive.

The hotel was very cute and staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was surprisingly very good. The options were just right for the different appetites of our group.

The property was very chic and boho. The staff there were very friendly. I enjoy my time there. My only complaint is the cleaning the hotel needs to provide a better service.

I'm so confused. The staff at the reception was very nice, the breakfast was wonderful. However, there was no cleaning at all. No bathroom supplies were received, towels were not changed, rubbish was not emptied. We'll return to Tulum, but we are not going back to this hotel.

Amazing place. Isa was so wonderful to me helping me with some travel issues. Very comfortable room.

Construction on all sides of the building takes away primacy and a restful stay.

Pretty great room, however there was a power outage from 7am until around 6pm which we didn't have any water or power.

Fantastic, clean and quiet Hotel and very economical price wise, breakfast was very good, would always recommend Hotel zendero in tulum.

It has all you need

Really hate to write a bad review but I do just want to warn others to avoid this place. I forgot a pair of shoes there (I’m positive of this, I wore them on our last night staying there and am quite positive I forgot them under the bed as I usually slide shoes down there). I called hours after checking out and they said that nobody had found them. They claimed they checked everywhere in the room. So, unless you want someone who is dishonest possibly cleaning your room, don’t stay here. Additionally, we chose this place specifically because it included parking and in reality there is only space for 3 cars at the front of the hotel. There was also construction going on across the street (not the hotels fault) but the view from our room was just a construction zone and we couldn’t sit on the chairs in the balcony because they were covered in dust from the construction. It seems there was also construction going on in the hotel itself and they started at 6:30am, so I wasn’t able to sleep after that. There was also a stain on our sheets.. it seemed like they were clean/ washed, but the stain wasn’t a great impression. The breakfast is good though and made to order, and the folks at reception acted nice and professional. I could have over looked all the bad things and wrote a review focusing on the good but knowing that someone is lying about not finding my shoes really ruins it.

Pool no was ready

Overall, our stay did not meet our expectations. Hotel was not nearly as nice as the photos. Mold stains on wall. Stains on bedspread. Breakfast was good but took 45min our second day. Evening receptionist was not very friendly. Only 3 parking spots (but can park along the dirt road it is on). Walkable to downtown Tulum, but not that nice of a walk. No chairs or desk in the room. Chairs on our deck were covered in dust from construction across the road.

Really appreciated that the hotel is centrally located and isn’t gated and sequestered from the local people of Tulum. During our stay, the staff was awesome, they were welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed the space.

Great property and resonance rate for the location and quality

Great boutique hotel close to center of Tulum but on a quiet street. An easy bike ride to Tulum beach from the hotel! Great breakfast! Nice pool area on roof. Nice hotel and a great value.

I never stay in the same hotel 2 nights in a row as I enjoy traveling around… However that was the exception :the hotel is very nice the breakfast is pretty and amazing and the pool and the top off is very interesting so I ended up staying longer

It’s one of the best hotels. It’s small and the staff are friendly. They offer breakfast every morning and it’s delicious. They do such a great job taking care of the place
