Excellent for one person. The room would have been a little small for two. Breakfast service particularly good.

The only criticism I could make is that I personally would appreciate the breakfast to be available earlier (08.00 rather than 08.30). apart from that the stay was very good

Wonderful service- on check in it was apparent that I would miss out on breakfast the next day due to work commitments- the manager offered to provide a pizza for dinner that night to make up for this and found me space in the restaurant despite it being very busy

Great option for an overnight stay. Car parking at the door, large, comfortable bed and all food served in the nearby pub, including breakfast.

room great, breakfast great, parking great. If working just need to be aware wifi has very weak signal, so not the best. Stay was on a Monday night, so menu was limited (burgers & wings which would not be my usual option) although my burger, as it goes, was good. Therefore I would gave to give it 9/10.

Quiet location just outside of Loughborough makes a great base to visit kids studying at uni. Lovely bar and breakfast provided. We stayed on a Monday night so unfortunately the restaurant was not open.

Clean and comfy room with kettle, coffee machine and bottled water. Good bathroom and food available. Great for an overnight stay. Friendly helpful staff.

The accommodations were very nice and the pub on the property, The Horse Shepshed, served excellent food. It was a great stay!

Convenient to visit friends in Quorn. A short distance from the M1 motorway. Situated in a semi rural location.

Pros: A compact clean upper room. Comfortable bed. Coffee/espresso and tea makers. Good sized bathroom. Close access to pub/ restaurant. Easy parking. Cons: Low sloped ceiling caused lots of head bumping incidents. The nice shower was unusable due to I defective water temperature control. Water temperature too hot. Despite the roomy bathroom, the sink was really small with a fixed faucet jutting out over the bowl. Not practical. No room service. Overall: This room would be adequate for a one night stay.

We were at a cheer competition so a few of us booked in here, it’s in a beautiful setting and great pub/ beer garden really impressive.

Overall very good with helpful and friendly staff. Noise could be heard from people in the room above and shelf under mirror in bathroom broken.

Absolutely lovely place, great for anyone visiting the uni. The food was lovely, service was good. We had a very early check out so they still sorted food for breakfast. Would Def return.

I stay away from home a lot for work. As a line female traveller of a certain age I want to make sure I can get food on site, park on site and then I check previous reviews. I can honestly say this is one of the nicest places I have stayed. The room, in a relatively new build block of 6, was a good size, really well equipped and the bed!!! Comfiest bed and bedding ever. I even stripped the quilt to see what make it was (Dorma!) The pub was lovely. I met locals, had a great chat with Lee, the owner, and the food!! Far better fare than standard pub grub. I was there for steak night and wood fired pizza night. Both were superb. All the staff were brilliant. It felt really homely. The one point others make about noise from other rooms is right. I'm sure they are just stud walls with no soundproofing, so was woken early every day by my neighbour on the phone, and on day 3 had a Bob Fleming cough so severe I feared he might cough himself to death. However, it did not affect my overall view of the place, and I certainly will return.

We booked two rooms for a one night Saturday stay, two adults and adult/children in another. With our daughter at University in Loughborough we based ourselves here for both her and our eldest daughter to attend a music event in Birmingham that evening and to allow us to spend the following day in Loughborough. Whilst they went off to the event my wife and I took the children down to the pub where you check in, for a meal on the Saturday (around 5pm). Despite not having booked, we were accommodated on a table reserved for party arriving later and enjoyed great woodfired pizza, garlic bread and chips, which was all great. This pub is very popular and given the quality of the food, I can see why, so I would recommend booking a table in advance with your stay. The building is very new, so all as you would expect, very clean, the rooms had underfloor heating, we turned the thermostat right down and still very warm. The following morning we had breakfast in the pub and brought our daughter from University along to join us too, which was really nice and the staff only too happy to accommodate her as well, despite not having stayed. Again, the meal was excellent, between us we had a variety, from full English, to vegetarian, as well as a few hand picked items for the children not wanting the full works. I would highly recommend this for anyone visiting children at Loughborough University and we have already booked again for the Mother's day weekend for another visit to our daughter.

The rooms are new, a little on the small size.Great coffee machine in the room - big plus from me!Bed was good, shower good, staff nice and great breakfast.Sadly the experience was completely overshadowed by the complete lack of insulation between rooms, every time someone upstairs moved it was amplified throughout.

The rooms need to be sound proof. Could hear everything from upstairs room. Besides thst good accommodation.
