Absolutely fantastic, great bungalow, good equipment in the kitchen and bathroom. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful Interieur and outside amazing animals in a wonderful surrounding. We would have loved to stay longer.

Amazing time - it was great to be in a cabin in the woods. Great to go exploring and walking. Cosy and really comfortable inside. One of the best beds we’ve ever slept in.

Cute little cottage set amongst the trees. Nice and quiet location

The place is hidden in the bush in Lakes Entrance. With one little sign welcoming guests it becomes confusing to find where you need to go. the premises is covered by over grown foliage and with blown lights within you cottage and notes stuck over light switches stating do not use this place becomes very unsafe. cob webs all through the cottage and ants nests within the walls fly screen not sealing windows, and with no outside lighting when it is dark it is DARK. Not to mention the gentleman welcoming us at the property collected our room keys from the drop box bowl on the counter because he could not find them. This place needs a serious clean-up and inspection. No one to great you upon check out as I would have asked for a refund. lets say the time spent in the room was limited. The road entering and exiting is not safe for a normal vehicle being a sedan or hatchback car. 4wd or higher vehicles welcome.

This place needs an update! The inside of the cottage was dated but clean - but you dont want to use the bathtub. The outside furniture wasn't cleaned for a while and the gas grill was so dirty - we could not use it. Except when we checked in, we did not see anyone from the staff. It seems that the new owners don't feed the possums and birds regulary. We did not see any wildlife except mosquitos and other biting insects.

The Cottages were quaint and rustic in a beautiful location, unfortunately the cleanliness was below standard and I saw a mouse in the loungeroom.

Sorry it’s an amazing spot in the forest but to be honest it feels like the place isn’t looked after well and is dire need of update and repair. Tiny flying bugs and mozzies had been sprayed and left over bedding and in bathroom areas, cobwebs all over outdoor furniture, wifi was unreliable and didn’t really work, TV inlets are well overloaded with electrical plugs, dog barking through the night and day, definitely not worth the 1,100 paid for a 2 night stay. Also plugging in an indoor lamp on the outside porch is asking for an accident.

This place needs a serious cleaning! Spider webs, very dirty screens in window, exhaust fan in shower looks like it’s never been cleaned! My wife was sitting on the couch and a mouse came out of the space between the cushions. In the morning I found mouse droppings on the counter and the mouse had gotten into some of our food. Very disappointing that hotels.com wood book places like this!

Beautiful location and grounds. Cottages very cute and clean. We had two cottages between us and friends and we enjoyed a bbq in the bushy grounds. Will definitely stay again. Thanks to the hosts who were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely little cottages in a serene forest location. Little rustic but clean and warm and we got what we were after with a lovely quiet overnight stay. The bird and possum feeding is a nice touch.

Says this is award winning accommodation, that must have been a long time ago

I loved the bush setting and cute and simple cabins. A little playground for the kiddos. Overall a great experience and we will be back for a longer stay

Great place.

The place is great for someone who wants to stay somewhere a bit different. But it looks as though it is being run down. The road is in terrible condition, there is junk everywhere, none of the attractions advertised happened, the manager was almost impossible to get hold of, there was no tea or coffee, we had to ask for extra towels.

Very quiet with lots of birds and gum trees. Kitchen and bathroom clean. Snug and comfortable, only a five-minute drive from the restaurants at Lakes Entrance.

The owner is very enthusiastic about introducing fun places. There are quaint wooden houses in the countryside, a few free range chickens and a big white dog. You can feed the birds in the morning. It is an interesting experience for people who are used to living in the city.

Good cottages with nice surroundings giving a feel of right in the middle of the jungle.

Although the cottages are in a nice quite setting, they desperately need some maintenance as they are outdated and the spa had 2 cracked and dirty jets. The TV is a good size but the reception is abysmal, kjept dropping out every few minutes. The driveway is steep and dangerous. It is heavily washed out in places washed out, you really need a SUV or 4 wheel drive to get in and out of the property. the kitchen utensils were lacking, only 1 dinner plate and only 1 portable induction hotplate. When I asked for an additional plate it took over 24 hours for them to give me one. The cottage was clean except for the jets on the spa bath. Al in all I think for cost of the accomodation I would expect a higher quality.

The property was ok though the driveway access to the property was not in good condition. One of the cottages had a funny odour.

Cosy cabins in a quiet area away from the main touristy bits (phew). The owner loves the wildlife and arranges evening feeding of the possums and morning feeding of the birds. It's a very 'back to nature' kind of place, which I think is great. The kitchen is a bit basic, but who needs fancy stuff when you're in such a nice area?

It’s cute cozy stay if you want remote away from the hustle bustle. So much potential but we found the roads in and out horrendous unless u have a 4x4; signage and pathways throughout the grounds was poor and very hard to find where to park, where reception is etc. No wifi which is vital these days. Communication with a reception was poor also. But the Cottage itself was cute.

The tranquility of being surrounded by nature, loved the country feel in the cottage and the spa was awesome😍

Very relaxing place if you like nature. Bird song during the day and frogs at night. I’ll be back.

This is a quite nice cottage located around the corner of the lakes entrance. My family have a wonderful 3 days holidays in here. Kalimna jatty walk just 5 mins walking distance. My kids enjoy the wood fire during cold winter night and the birds feeding on the morning.

Little Cottage in a bushland setting. Very quiet and relaxing. Nice and warm with the log fire (extra $13).

Lovely beach bush setting. Quiet location. Accommodation was comfortable. Cleanliness can be improved. Playground needs maintenance.

The gentleman who was at reception very friendly and helpful however the property could use a tidy up and trees lopped back as one very close to falling right where car parked. Didn't use spa bath as was a little marked around plug area. Otherwise cozy cabin.
