Amazing and very helpful

Great concierge, fantastic neighborhood, wonderful room.

I had made an error when booking and the reservation was only for one adult instead of two. The whole check in process with the two people on duty at check-in was awkward and uncomfortable and they attempted to overcharge me for the "additional" guest. The cost was less than $20 more on the website and they asked for $50. I questioned this and after checking with someone else it was agreed that I only needed to pay $20. Everyone else we dealt with during the stay was lovely but this initial interaction left me and my husband feeling disappointed and unwelcome. The hotel itself is fantastic - clean and stylish with great facilities. On the day we were leaving there was a problem with the hot water and we had to have cold showers before check out. The team on reception were understanding and spoke to maintenance and we were given a few minutes after check out time - but the hot water didn't return before we had to leave to get to the airport. The additional charge for the extra person was removed because of the issue with the water - which was really appreciated after what happened at check in. We had dinner in the rooftop - which was wonderful and the service was lovely. Breakfast was tasty and the service was fantastic.

The hotel is decorated with classy furnishing and crisp bed linens. What makes this hotel “singular” is simply its staff, from front desk to concierge to dining. A special shoutout to David. He genuinely cares about guests. He made sure we were warm enough going out at night; advised us on directions with potential congestion & safety; and many small details that showed him as a true consummate in the hospitality business. Singular Hotel and its guests are lucky to have him!

No bottle of champagne, as an explicit benefit for a platinum member, the hotel was not full and no upgrade, nor higher floor room. The staff at the reception was not very friendly. It’s a really beautiful hotel, with no parking lot. The service at the rooftop restaurant was good, also the drinks and the food.

Great hotel

First and foremost Martin the concierge at the hotel is AMAZING! He was super helpful when we arrived but also extremely responsive with all my questions prior to arrival. The location is perfect, walkable to some of the sites - for us the walking tour started at Plaza De Armas and we could walk there. Restaurants are right around the corner and there’s a famous gelato place across the street. The rooftop is fab and the hotel lobby is cozy and inviting. Nothing fancy about the rooms but the bathroom was nice especially the shower! Highly recommend.
