It’s Nosara, so you expect high prices. If the service was good, my review wouldnt be so harsh as the place is actually niceish for the price.

There were no sheets for two beds, NO one to contact about it, an empty bottle in a corner. And the guy quite literally never replied…except when he called me to ensure I paid.

Good location.

The pool was messy, the gardens were not cared for, the room was grubby in general. Needed a good deep cleaning. Just had a general vibe of not a lot of care going on. One of the elements on the stove didn’t seem to turn ‘off’. The room with the bunk bed was like an oven. We had to move the mattresses out of the room for the kids to be able to sleep. The shower had 2 temperatures: lava and cold. The cold was perfect.

I liked that we were high up and could see a family of monkeys jumping from tree to tree. The apartment was nice but could have been cleaned more thoroughly

The bathroom was filthy and seems like it hasn’t been touched (cleaned) for a while. The pool area needs some love, too.

Close to a very nice beach. Air conditioning worked. Fridge was large and worked well. Lots of space. Reasonably clean.

Stove had only one working burner; requires manual light (you turn on the gas and hold up a lighter to it). Some burners had faulty gas valves-- a safety issue. On turning on the kitchen faucet for the first time, a swarm (literally hundreds) of ants came out.
