Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a pleasant stay for the weekend. There was just a few things that were unfavorable. First the hot water barely works. Had to take cold showers. Also in this cottage they made the shower a little bigger but rest of the bathroom cramped. The shower has a leak causing water to go all over the floor, we had to put towels down for the water. We've stayed in a few cottages on Spanish Village probably won't stay here again. We did love the yard, it was perfect for our little dog. Bed was comfortable as was the futon couch.

There was a leak thru the ceiling fan in the middle of the night but was fixed quickly the next day & new sheets & towels provided. The fences were too short for our golden retrievers, but small dogs would be fine here. We were on a budget with the dogs so it was fine for the money. The best part was the screened in porch. Loved it!

It was a great place for the weekend. We enjoyed it!

Plans changed and we didn’t get to travel this fall. Thankfully we were refunded fully and had no issues.

This property is in a great location with bars and some restaurants all within walking distance. They yard was well maintained and my dog enjoyed running around. The inside was nice but much smaller than I imagined from the pictures. The WiFi went out about 5 pm on our last night and didn’t come back on until about 11 pm. While I realize it was due to a spectrum outage and out of the owners hands, a little refund would have been nice. There is no cable and wasn’t able to stream anything while the cable was out.

Nice small cottage with covered patio; walking distance to restaurants / shops. Good for small dogs with fenced in yard.

This cottage is fantastic! Close to the beach, places to eat, and shopping! Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay for a small family with little kids. There is a door on the bedroom so you’re able to block them off in the evening and can hang out on the porch! Also a really walkable locations with the shops on the same street.

We had an amazing trip and we really love the location of this property. The screened in deck area was perfect to hang out on in the evening. The bungalow was perfect for me and my husband and we will definitely be back!

Amazing little bungalow. Located within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. Beach was right around the corner.

I love everything. The only bad thing is. No hooks for your purse or jacket. That's the only negative thing.

Kitchen had everything we needed. The next time you remodel the bathroom, consider losing the window and moving the shower to that wall. A pedestal sink where the shower is, would give more room. Loved the pantry in the hall, very useful. The circle street was very quiet and made for a nice neighborhood.

I was able to enjoy the beach and the sughts with ease. Very nice place to sray with my 2 dogs and in a great little culdisack.

We were pleasantly surprised at how perfect this cottage was for us. We were able to relax, walk to the beach or just relax on the back patio, which was my favorite spot.

Reviewer Comments: We were originally booked for a different cottage but when we arrived to that one we were not happy with the yard so I called the management office and asked if we could be moved over to Barefoot Bungalow. The girl (I think her name was Hailey) who helped us was very friendly and had us moved over to the other property in less than 5 minutes.

Property is well kept and maintained. All basic necessities were met. We felt comfortable the entire time. And I love the yard for our dogs! They were happy too.

Reviewer Comments: This cottage was in the perfect location - close enough in town to walk to a few places if we wanted to, but out of the way/quiet enough to take our dog for a walk around the neighborhood without worrying about traffic. The house was clean - which I was super happy about considering this is a "pet friendly" cottage. I've been upset at previous rentals with pet hair on everything - and that was NOT the case here. I appreciated the amount of consumables (trash bags, soap, etc.) that were provided - it was enough for our stay. The fenced in yard was great for our mini Aussie to have room to run (grass was mowed and the landscaping was well kept and beautiful), and we loved the screened in patio area during the evenings (also in great condition - no holes in the screen, patio furniture was solid and not falling apart). We did take the AC filter out of the window unit and shook it off, so I would recommend to management to check those more often. I appreciated having a broom to sweep up the sand that makes its way into the house. Glad there were extra linens and pillows available, made the stay more comfortable! I also liked the keypad entry, it made checking in and out a breeze. The parking for this particular cottage was plenty for the 2 vehicles (truck + golf cart) that we had. We will definitely be considering this property or any other cottage in this neighborhood for a future stay.
