Nice - basic rooms but lovely location

We absolutely loved staying here & would stay here again. Food was freshly made, staff were always friendly & would stop & chat with us. Fast & efficient at sorting out a motorbike for us to be able to hire to get around the island.

This was the 3rd time staying .. we haven’t been back since Oct 2019 it’s had a coat of paint in the main area since then but in general it’s been let run down .. needs a total overhaul specially in the older original bungalows, beds are hard, linen is terrible, just not maintained & the furnishings are dirty & stained .. was really extremely disappointed this time & we won’t be back .. some staff were great like Putu but others were very unfriendly & poor service.. the food had also gone down in my ratings it used to be great, it was very average this stay .. we were to stay 5 nights we were that uncomfortable we only stayed 3 & that was just doable .. sorry spend some $$ & upgrade it’s such a great beach location but for the $$$ it was poor .

Very relaxing . Very friendly,helpful staff . Good food .Good happy hour cocktails . Good live music Saturday nights , & 2 other nights of the week. Prices are reasonable too .We have been staying here for many years , and will keep staying here. Absolute beach frontage . Meters from the water . Beautiful Sunsets . Beautiful Ambiance. Can’t wait to go back . Our favourite place to relax.

Quite run down but room clean and comfortable. No hot water or room service. Lights above bed not working. Nowhere to put luggage. Some staff friendly others not so.

Great location on the beach but so many places close by with much better service and rooms for the same price. Bed was very uncomfortable and there was no drawers, shelves, hanging space in the room. Staff were disinterested and service was very slow.

Standard double rooms are pretty basic. Would be nice to have at least one piece of furniture to put some bits and pieces on. Instead we had to put everything on the floor. Cold water shower only . O.k. for what you pay and the breakfast included was average. Good beachfront location though.

Cons:
After 6 days not once was the room attended,
Cold showers,
No drinking water supplied,
Water randomly shut off to room during day,
old stained towels,
After 6 days there is a lot of sand and rubbish piled up,
No beach/pool towel,
No TV in room as advertised,
WiFi only available in restaurant, not in rooms,
Don't rent bike here, more expensive and broken bike (empty tank, broken indicators, broken mirrors etc.)
These are our pros and cons, basically weigh up if it's for you. The price for its location is pretty decent.

Loved the location - right on the beach! Great beach too! Most of the staff were great. There was one member that was a bit snarky so we just didn't deal with him.
Pool was good and in a great space. Food was so-so, but just down the beach are other great restaurants.

We stayed in a basic room which was ok and also the queen room. Pay a little extra and go for the queen room. Basic has no hot water but not an issue when air temp so warm.
Nice walks along coral sand beach or a surf straight out front on the reef outside lagoon.
This was old Bali the one I remember 40 years ago and we cannot wait to come back. If you want to chill for a few days or weeks then this is the place. PERFECT

Tarci bungalows is an ideal spot to wind down on your trip. Right on the beach front with a small pool and rooftop mezzanine. The restaurant serves great food and the staff definitely make you feel at home.

Tarci Bungalows is a boutique restaurant/bar and accommodation literally on the beach. The rooms are basic but nice and comfy, the food is good, they are clean and well organised, but most of all the staff are all amazing!! They have live music a couple of times a week, and you can swim in either the pool or the beautiful shallow beach on your doorstep. Five stars for this simple but wonderful place.

This was our second stay at Tarci and we again had an excellent stay. The staff were friendly, the food good and super location right on the beach.
We upgraded this time to ocean view room which was nice but just a little bit noisy at times; on reflection we would prefer to be a little back from the restaurant / bar.

A wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The location right at the beach was also just great. The wifi was pretty good and the restaurant really good.
The little improvements would be the guide signs to help customers to find the place, lightning in the room (now it was a bit dark), a desk with a chair in the room and a bit more plentiful breakfast.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Not fancy, but one with nature. Right on the beach, feet in the sand experience, awesome sunsets and ambiance. Friendly helpful staff. Long evenings enjoyed the beachside restaurant and bar. Will definitely return.

Such a beautiful location right on the beach, with a restaurant and bar overlooking the water. The Bungalows are spacious and clean, it was great having a balcony as well. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was an issue, from organising scooters for a day to snorkelling trips. Will definitely come and stay again.
